Breed Specific Gene Suggestion:
Sun/starburst dappling, called "sunstrike" or "starstrike" commonly. This is a gene that can express minimally on the saddle or full body. Rarely expresses on face & generally only reaches the legs in maximum expression. What makes this gene special is that it is only visible on a smooth coat. It can appear on curly and rough coated collies, but would not be visible unless shaved. Has a chance of causing very dramatic dilution to the points.
How it would appear with maximum expression on a smooth coat.
Example of how it would be under the coat but not visible on a rough/curly.

Owner: DVTProject
Name: Zabrina
Gender: Female
Breed Specific Gene Suggestion: Something like the Genet's pattern? I'm not very good with dog genetics but I honestly think this would be an interesting marking. There could possibly be different variations of intensity like minimal, normal, and extreme. For example the minimal would be spots on the back(not sides) only and the stripes would only reach the shoulders. The rings on the tail would only be at the base of it. For normal it would look pretty similar to the animal's basic markings, but would only reach to the bottom of the sides. The tail rings would reach the middle of the tail. Extreme would have the most resemblance to the Genet but the stripes and spots would be all the way down to the paws (That's the max). Tail rings would reach the tip of the tail(Also max). Oh yeah and the dorsal stripe is always present regardless of intensity.

Sorry it's kind of all over the place, I was trying my best to describe it,

so, a brown collie, with a white base line slash kind of thing on their side, then a black one (smaller) over it, so that way, the white slash outlines the black one

        Maned Wolf

Maned - I have always been a HUGE fan of Maned Wolves, (Had a fursona named Twig that was one!).
Specifically I love how the black leg socks often appear shorter on the rear legs, and longer on the front.
I find the black hackle/mane to be just incredibly stunning. Im not sure how genes work entirely I admit
(I am working hard to learn!); If you are able to incorporating more of the entire look, how can one go
wrong with a beautiful white bib on the throat and a white tail tip? Over all the black socks
and mane, are what I would really love to see reflected in the gene.
But additionally really LOVE the white bib/tail tip if thats possible?
You are the experts and know how to work the magic/how this could be applied!

    Name: Rapier
    Gender: Female
    Breed Specific Gene Suggestion:
Wildebeest Brindle (Wbr?) - A pattern of brindling that only appears along the beck and shoulders, as well as giving a pseudo-masking effect over the entire face, the underside of the tail and bottom, and the top-side of the ears. Some extreme cases show the brindling pattern along the front portion of the ribcage and on the flank The degree of thickness to the striping varies among individuals, but those on the extreme side have larger and sometimes merging lines, creating a sort of shading effect. Dogs with rough or curly coat types sport a black tipped mane, so to speak, wherein the fit coming from the spine is also dark. This mane only alters the fit from the crown of the head to the shoulders.

Puppies with this marking only sport the pseudo-mask on the face and ears, and the shading effect on their tails, and as they grow the striping appears from the undercoat along the neck, shoulders and body, as well as the bottom.

Hello! I'm Mango30, but I'm usually just called Mango, Puff or River. I have no prference in what is used. I use exclusively she/her pronouns. I ride horses whenever I'm able, and have been doing sso for a long time! I am interested in a large variety of fandoms, ranging from animes (Fairy Tail, FMAB, ect), Tranformers, (TFP, TFOne), and DC (Batman). This is just some basic information about me, so PM me if you ever want to talk! I'm free pretty much all the time! I don't bite!

Note: I have only recently come back to CS after years of inactivity, so I may not reply quickly!
