Kalon name: Imani ||
Song: Dead Meadow - Babbling Flower "𝙱𝚊𝚋𝚋𝚕𝚎, 𝚌𝚘𝚗𝚏𝚞𝚜𝚒𝚘𝚗, 𝚍𝚒𝚜𝚋𝚎𝚕𝚒𝚎𝚏, 𝚜𝚕𝚒𝚍𝚒𝚗𝚐 '𝚌𝚛𝚘𝚜𝚜 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚏𝚕𝚘𝚘𝚛
𝚝𝚘 𝚖𝚎. 𝚆𝚊𝚝𝚌𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚠𝚒𝚝𝚑 𝚏𝚊𝚗𝚐𝚎𝚍 𝚝𝚎𝚎𝚝𝚑.."Imani had been abandoned, and this realm in which he was left was
not normal. The sky was even of a color he couldn't name, and the
alien creatures that surrounded him whispered in foreign tongues,
their eyes shifting back and forth, mocking with threatening gestures.
But here was a new voice that stood out, sudden; eerily comforting -
"𝙶𝚒𝚋𝚋𝚎𝚛𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝙵𝚕𝚘𝚠𝚎𝚛, 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚋𝚕𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚖𝚘𝚞𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚛.. 𝚌𝚊𝚜𝚝 𝚗𝚘 𝚎𝚢𝚎𝚜 𝚘𝚗 𝚖𝚎."The creatures had swiftly parted at the sound of
the singer's voice,
and the few that had lingered took off just as fast when his form had
blended through the fog and into view. His song was like an effect that
just frightened the evil away, and while this stranger may have been a
threat himself, the lone and exposed kit was too tired yet entranced
to run again. He felt hope, which he thought he may never again. Was
he to be saved?
"𝚈𝚘𝚞 𝚠𝚒𝚕𝚕 𝚗𝚘𝚝 𝚋𝚎 𝚠𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚒𝚝 𝚒𝚜 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚎𝚊𝚝. 𝙻𝚘𝚟𝚎 𝚌𝚘𝚟𝚎𝚛 𝚖𝚎." Although the adult Kalon seemed to speak right to him, as he was now
close enough to meet eyes, Imani thought that he must need to keep
singing as a barrier from the dark spirits around them. In the moment,
the stranger's gaze of kindness and the unexpected promise that he
would not be harmed was the most comforting, and Imani instantly
pulled himself up from where he was huddled to follow the stranger
through the trees of the intimidating forest.
"𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚐𝚜 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚠𝚊𝚗𝚝 𝚍𝚊𝚗𝚌𝚎 𝚊𝚛𝚘𝚞𝚗𝚍 𝚢𝚘𝚞, 𝚋𝚎𝚊𝚞𝚝𝚢 𝚙𝚞𝚝𝚜
𝚑𝚎𝚛 𝚎𝚗𝚍 𝚞𝚙𝚘𝚗 𝚢𝚘𝚞." Imani didn't fully understand the lyrics of the song, save for the one
line of promise that was made, and if he had not been so weary he
may not have believed it so easily. But, captivated by the way they
were sung and the hope of safety, he had. Juri had kept his promise,
and saved the kit from abandonment and loneliness.
In time, Imani learned that this song was actually from Earth, and
one that his father loved so much that he used it to create the bond
between them, as fitting as it was. And, because of this, this song
became the one with the most meaning to Imani. It had saved him
just as much as Juri, became his lullaby and comforting words, and
was his protection from the evil that lurked in this world. It also
became the song he changed to, for he followed in the path Juri
set out for him and, to be like his father, shifted into a demonic
entity for the sake of their existences. The meek had become the
adaptable.

The formation of the babbling flower: When the time had come for
him to transform, the words of his song lulled his mind into a state of
immense comfort, as they always have. The act of changing forms had
naturally stirred up great fear and anxiety, but he was ecstatic to be
like his father, to hold the same powers and perhaps even more to help
protect them both. After the lightning struck and as his body had
twisted with the change of blood, the membranes of his eyes tearing
and reforming to give him new sight of the spirits, his senses flickering
like static as they heightened, he still managed to sing the song to
himself. They were unstoppable now, the Babbling Flower and the End
of Beauty. No eyes would be cast upon either of them.
