Juniper is a mellow and caring soul, but also a daydreamer. She likes to sit back and observe others enjoying themselves, as it brings her joy. Unless its something fun like blowing bubbles or water slides, then she'd just dive in.
As quiet as she may be, she does have a competitive side. When challenged, she will rise to the plate. This side of her awakes a whole new Kalon. Juniper becomes more confident, extremely determined to win and sporting sportsmanship to all. She can also be compelling when she wants too, but she finds it easier to stay away from others like that and just be herself in peace.
𝕃𝕚𝕜𝕖𝕤: Astrology, baking, sketching and writing stories, winter & Autumn, thunderstorms, hot chocolate with big marshmallows, bonfires, bubbles, finger painting, water slides, chess and puzzle video games.
𝔻𝕚𝕤𝕝𝕚𝕜𝕖𝕤: Slimy textures, frogs, mud, littering, bugs, disrespectful behavior, repeating herself, public speaking and pitch darkness.
𝔹𝕒𝕤𝕚𝕔 𝕤𝕥𝕠𝕣𝕪:
Juniper grew up with siblings who all had bigger personalities than her. They liked to show off and be praised for it. She didn't care much for it, but after awhile, they began to focus their attention to her. Teasing and picking on her for being so shy. After being picked on so much, Juniper snapped. She grew a back bone before her siblings and showed that she wasn't timid as they believed her to be. She just wished to be a bigger person and not show off like they did. She would destroy her siblings in chess matches and trivia games from time to time. She didn't like boosting but when challenged, she couldn't say no.
She moved away from family and decided to live a more peaceful lifestyle in a back water cabin where she found a new love for the stars. Every night she would go out with a hot beverage, usually hot chocolate, watching for shooting stars and reads books on astrology or far away places. Learning about the constellations, zodiacs and what the future could bring. She would sketch her favorite places and make up stories of travelers who'd venture across the land and would one day take her with them. As she dreamed of going on an adventure.

Quirk: She isn't too keen on some textures, avoiding it at all costs. For example, anything slimy sends her running with chills.Trivia 2:
Zodiac sign is Cancer.
Entering For Maxine wrote:Khada Jhin || Memento Mori || She/Her"Mori!" called out a familiar voice from the kitchen, a voice that made Memento Mori's heart skip a beat.
It was the voice of Koharu, Mori's coworker and current crush. She's a sassy Kalon who's fond of attention, a stark contrast to Mori's shy demeanor. Mori's mind wandered as she made her way into the kitchen, causing her to bump into the door frame as she entered. Her train of thought was interrupted by Koharu's jade eyes staring into her's.
"Oh, um... y-yes, Koharu? What did you need?" Mori stuttered, nervous in Koharu's presence.
"Oh, nothing. Its just time for our shift change." Koharu replied with a toothy grin.
"Right, right." Mori nodded as Koharu walked past her, her tail brushing against her and making her shiver.
"Make sure you get those orders right!" Koharu said with a wink before sticking out her tongue at Mori in a playful manner as she headed out into the dining area to start taking orders.
Mori found herself staring at Koharu as she left. She then shook her head and headed over to the counter. She placed several platters and cups onto the serving tray and waited for Koharu to come to the window with an order. A few moments later, the order bell chimed, and Mori quickly retrieved the order slip.
One cup of Jasmine tea.
4 pork and cabbage dumplings with spiced honey sauce.
It was a simple order, one Mori would normally have no trouble completing. Except for today, as she just couldn't seem to get Koharu off her mind.
She started with the dumplings, putting them on the stove to cook while she prepared the tea and sauce. Koharu had already put a kettle on, and it had just began to scream as the steam built up. Mori turned off the burner and moved to grab it, accidentally passing her paw through the stream of steam. She yelped in pain and jumped back, falling flat on her tail.
"Ah, ah! Ouch ouch ouch!" Mori exclaimed as she examined her paw. It was only a first degree burn, and might blister later, but it was fine. She was sure Koharu would make her laugh later to cheer her up.
She got back up, grabbing the kettle the proper way this time. She gently poured the water into the cup, then went to retrieve the Jasmine blend. Each box of tea blend was in a different colored box. The box containing the Jasmine blend was white, as it has been since the shop opened years ago. But, distracted by Koharu's striking jade eyes, Mori accidentally grabbed the standard Green Tea blend instead. It didn't seem off in the moment, even as she put the blend in the water and mixed it in, watching it turn a nice shade of green.
Since the dumplings still had a few minutes left, Mori decided to mix up the sauce real quick. She bound over to the pantry and retrieved the honey jar.
"Ewww..." she muttered as she realized the jar was sticky. Koharu wasn't known for being neat or careful, after all, so she must have forgotten to clean off the jar.
Mori placed the sticky jar on the counter next to the serving tray. She removed the lid and dipped the special honey spoon into the amber fluid. She then carefully moved it over to a small bowl and allowed the honey to drip off the spoon naturally. She then went to grab the spices needed.
The spices normally used for this sauce were mild, just enough to add a little kick to the dish, but Mori, rushing to finish it before the dumplings were overcooked, grabbed something much stronger than the standard spice bland. As she sprinkled it into the honey, her paw pads tingled slightly, but she just assumed that was from the spices touching her minor burn.
Finally, she retrieved the dumplings from the pot. They were a little overcooked, but she was sure it was fine. She placed everything on the serving tray and carried it to the window, ringing the bell to let Koharu know it was ready.
The rest of the evening went on much the same. Mori took the orders from Koharu, and distracted by her crush, messed up every single one in some form or another. At closing time, Koharu approached her.
"So, Mori... We got a few complaints during your shift." She said in a serious, yet still slightly playful tone.
"Oh! Oh no! I'm so sorry, I-"
"Oh, its fine." Koharu interrupted. "I do the same thing when I have stuff on my mind too."
"L-Like what?" Mori stuttered.
"Oh, I don't know..." Koharu said with a chuckle as she bounded away.
"H-Hey! Wait up!" Mori shouted as she chased after her love.
