Strawberry’s favourite childhood memory is with her brother, Raspberry. Strawberry’s family lived in a farm, so they had a lot of space on their acreage but not a lot of friends. So, they had to get along, and they were the best of friends. Strawberry’s mom had built them a tire swing attached to one of the trees on the farm, and they never used it much. Usually they were out exploring. One day, on a particularly bad day for both of them, they were wandering about the yard when Strawberry spotted the tire swing and suggested they use it. Raspberry didn’t have anything better to do, so he agreed. It was the time of their lives. They laughed and giggled trying to both fit into the tire swing at the same time, they pushed each other much higher than their mom would’ve liked, and they threw dirt at each other as they came down from the swing. They had a lot of fun. They still don’t use the tire swing much, but they know it’s there when they need it. That afternoon with her brother is Strawberry’s favourite childhood memory.
