Well, he reminded me of sand and rocks somehow. And when I was doing name research, I came across the name Dune, and that there is a book series called Dune aswell. Its Sci-Fi, what I basically love. I just thought it fits somehow <3

name; Mason
pronouns; he/him
name reason; Mason Bees are my Special Interest. Specifically, the Blue Orchard Mason Bee. Masons are smaller than Honey bees, more black as well. They don't make honey but are up to 20 times more efficient pollen gatherers. Next spring, I will be placing small tubes of wood out in my yard, each filled with woven cooccons of Mason Bees. The males will hatch first, and begin pollenating. Then, the females, the only ones capable of stinging and doing so at a rate incredibly small compared to Honey Bees. They are also less poisonous. They do not swarm and are friendly enough to chill on your finger. I long to raise my own Mason Bees with everything in me just as I long to own my very first Keldine. Mason bees are well.... Masons. They use their mandibles to gather mud to build walls between each egg which protects them from Wasps. Mason Bees are independent but coexisting bees, reflecting this Kels shy look. Mason Bees also prefer holes to inhabit that are 5/16ths of an inch wide and 6 inches deep. This is the perfect size for comfortable movement and protection. Male blue orchard Mason Bees have white fuzz at the top of their head, a blue tinted body and pale yellowish stripes where the Females have a sapphire sheen to them. I hope my rambles about my beloved Mason Bees is as inspiring and adorable to you as it is to me! These guys are hard workers all while bejng friendly. Just like I believe this Keldine would be.
Humanity is an act not a thing, right?
