Welcome to the Euphorian Retired Racehorse Project
Euphorian Thoroughbreds are a rare string of the Thoroughbred breed. They come from a single farm simply called “Euphoria” that has horses with mutated genes. These allow them to be able to possess any realistic coat or markings. Everything else about the sub-type is the same. Long, strong legs, a powerful hind, and great speed. Their eyes are soft and the breed is incredibly smart, if not a bit goofy. They love kids and have the rare ability to excel in any discipline. They can grow from 15hh-18hh, though usually somewhere in the middle.
The horses readopted through the Euphorian Retired Racehorse Project are looking for a new loving home and a new job. They’ve tried racing and have either retired or decided the sport wasn’t for them. Either way, they are ready for the next chapter in their life. Some of these horses will come with a little training already, and will have their new discipline already determined. Although others you’ll get to pick how they move forwards!

It gives me such a peaceful felling to remember this and I feel like Mudhopper would carry that in to her dressage routines. But also would love to bask in the mud at the edge of the pond in her pasture.

Explanation:
Like the earthenware pots that share her name, Terracotta has always been a horse of change. She was born wild, the daughter of the earth and sun, and was caught very early in her life to become a racehorse. For years, her handlers tried to teach this gorgeous savage the rule of whip and saddle, but it was only when a young woman - with no experience whatsoever, but a dream - came along that she realised she wanted to win. All her spirit, passion and wildness was channelled into this crazy desire, but she did it. The crazy, wild little foal was gone, and Terra was there instead. She won everything, to the point that her stable entered her in the Melbourne cup. No matter that she was English, born and bred, this was the best there was, so that was where she would go. And there, in front of these thousands of people betting against her, a wild mare from another continent, she passed the line in first. Hours later, the vets realised she had run the entire race with a sprained ankle. She would never race again.
The stable was both overjoyed and furious. They'd won the Cup, and didn't think to notice that the best racer they had was hurt?. Needless to say, that jockey was pulled back from all major races, but Terracotta? She had to retrained. At first they wanted to try endurance, but she wasn't exactly the right kind of horse. Too used to a life of speed, she would never win ribbons for a sport of stamina. For almost six months, she was bounced around discipline to discipline, never much more than slightly above average. Her whole stable mourned the loss of their champion's spirit, breaking away slowly, her body in the wrong place. It wasn't until a little girl, training for her pony show in a couple of weeks, pointed to Terra and asked why the pretty horse didn't go jump like her May-May pony?
And so, again was she retrained, again did her pot of creation take on a new form, showjumping. And again, she was the true champion once more
