    Answer to Prompt: 206 words
Aria shuddered upon hearing the question. Chills ran down her spine.
“Do I believe in ghost? Absolutely. Have I had any encounters? No and I wish I never will. I’m deathly afraid of them. Thanks to watching a couple of movies when I was younger, it’s more than enough to scar me for life. I come from a family that has many traditions and superstitions so that might’ve also contributed to my fear.

Don’t flash your light in trees. Don’t whistle at night. Don’t talk about supernatural at night and a lot more. I guess in a way, all these help to scare me into not staying out too late, which is probably the reason why people thought of these in the first place. It was probably just a tactic to get their kids home early.

Anyway, it is still more than enough to scare me. My mother always told me that we share a world with those that have since long left the mortal realm. This planet is still their home and we should continue to respect them. Do no evil. See no evil. So yeah, I’ve been living by this since. Still hope I never encounter one. I don’t have he heart for it.”

    Answer to Prompt:
Did they believe in ghosts? Pele blinked slowly, their head cocking the opposite direction at the questions. "I mean, what's not to believe? Even if they're not real by nature enough people think they're real that they must've become real by now right?" they questioned, taking absolutely no care to make sure they were being coherent. Moon Moo would figure it out or he wouldn't and, well, Pele was far more concerned with saying things than being understood. "That being said," the continued with a grin. "They're obviously real right? I mean, I've never really interacted with anything worth writing home about but..." Pele shrugged, pausing their rambling to take a long sip of their drink. "I mean, it's the law of conservation of energy yeah? We've got energy and when we pass it doesn't just...poof right? Makes sense that it'd linger on. And, I dunno about you but, if I was a lingering bit of energy I'd definitely want to get into some mischief."

Answer to Prompt: "Hmm... ghosts? Well, I can't say that I've ever run into a ghost, or that I really believe them. I will tell you about what I think of the afterlife, though. You see, I'm very scientifically minded. Nothing makes sense to me other than thinking that spirits become reincarnated. That makes sense to me, because, like the conservation of energy, spirits, or life forces if you prefer, should go somewhere, right? Now, I don't know how or why, as I don't claim to be a master of these things, but there must be a way that nature keeps order of the dead. As one life force leaves one being, it goes into another, and the cycle continues. Because of this, I agree when the religious say no one really dies.
"Let me give you one example that lead me to believe this. So, when my grandmother died, like I mentioned earlier, we buried her in her favorite wildflower patch. That day when we were leaving from there, I strayed through the forest to get a moment to myself. There, I stumbled across a doe and her newborn fawn. Yes, in mid day in early winter, before there should be any babies being born. There was something special about this fawn, too, and not just that it lifted its head to me like a friend. It had blue eyes, which deer don't just have. In fact, it's eyes were the same color blue as mine, which I inherited from my grandmother. Further more, instead of having white dots on its back, it a one big connected white spot that I swear looked just like my grandmother's spot. When I moved closer the doe chased me away, but I swear I've seen that fawn all grown up many times, but only in my grandmother's favorite places. Now, that may seem absurd, but I know that it can't all be a coincidence. That's my only afterlife-related encounter, though." (325 words)

Buttermilk's Name/ Link: Takara
Answer to Prompt: Takara's answer came nearly immediately, though not without an odd look. "Of course I do. I would be foolish not to, I think, not after the places I've been. I've followed ghost stories before - and even if I've never really found anything, the air in some of those places felt... charged. Different. And it's funny, I think, how knowing what happened in a place can change how it feels, sometimes, or just just gives it a deeper feeling. A field can feel off before its tragic history is made known, and then it feels just about untouchable, as if even standing in the shade of a tree that never saw what happened - but grew in the soil that did - can lead to misfortune. I've sought out some of those places... and sometimes, it's all I could do to pay enough respect that I felt forgiven for even coming near the place."

Buttermilk's Name/ Link: Dashiell
Answer to Prompt: Dashiell's eyes widened in surprise when he said that Aria composes, he had never met a heifer that could compose that was amazing. He came back the next time the cafe was opened softly and sat down ordering his favourite before he realized that Azai asked him another question. Did he believe in ghosts? "O-Oh goodness do I e-ever! They are s-so so spooky and scary!" He said, "Have I ever had a run in with a ghost? Yes I-I have... I swear it! I saw her in the forest one time when I was young, she was bright white and a-almost glowing, she wandered across the path and realized that s-she.... s-she was gliding on the ground! Like her hooves w-weren't touching!" He said, "Then she was gone and I woke up a-at home... t-turns out I passed out from fright but I swear I s-saw her, I was so s-scared." He said meekly. "I-I never did see her again after that, b-but I know s-she was real because a-ah... well I-I just know she was..." he said meekly. "Y-You believe me r-right?" Dashi asked.

Buttermilk's Name/ Link: Abby
Answer to Prompt: Believe in ghosts? Absolutely not! Abby does not believe in ghosts! She thinks that theyre probably something supernatural that others like to entertain the idea of but- she certainly has never had any run ins with no ghost and until she was- there was nothing to believe. Abby believes that ghosts were either made up for horror, to scare the children, or just for some plain amusement and fun to explain some weird things going on in the world. But there were not any ghosts and no one was going to tell her that there is! Or at least- that is what she is hoping to believe anyway... despite blatantly stating the obvious about her opinions, there's something in Abby that just hopes and prays for the fact that ghosts weren't real. She was already afraid of the unknown and what the night could bring- adding a ghost or supernatural into the equation just made it all the worse! [159 words]

Pudding hasn't quite grasped the concept of Halloween. Being highly superstitious,
she is very skeptical during this time of the year. She's always had trouble with telling the
difference between a costume and the real deal, so imagine her surprise when a ghost came
up to her beckoning for treats.

Buttermilk's Name/ Link:Antheia
Answer to Prompt:

They sat across from each other - Azai and Antheia - both staring at each other and not breaking eye contact.“Okay, last question: Do you believe in ghosts? Tell me about a run-in you’ve had with those beyond the living, or tell me why you don’t believe in them!” Antheia rose her eyebrows slightly, ghosts? There couldn't be such things. She shook her head involuntarily. Antheia always believed in an after life but the thought of being a ghost and just lurking about made her start to question things. Not her belief but what would happen if she were to die? Would she be stuck on Earth? Reincarnated? She was not really sure but what ever it was she hoped it would bring her peace.

"Ghosts, you say? Yeah I believe in them. There has to be something after this right? It can't just be nothing, that would be illogical. I've never really had a run-in with a ghost or spirit before but I bet it would be fun. I mean... It could be scary! What if the ghost is meant to do ill-will on someone," Antheia huffed out and sighed deeply, she felt confused - lost. "I think I would be okay with it as long as it wasn't there to harm me." Antheia smiled sweetly and tilted her head.

Day 7

    Buttermilk's Name/ Link: Milk
Answer to Prompt: Milk wasn't much of a ghost fan. He didn't necessarily not believe in them but he didn't want to fully believe in them because the thought of ghosts scared him. Even the friendly stories of ghosts scared him, mainly because he couldn't see ghosts and didn't know their intentions. Even the good ghosts seemed to be trouble; spirits in general were troubled. The waking life is already hard and unenjoyable, why would they take the time to come back to it? Even the thought of it made Milk cringe, pulling his head down into the folds of his sweater, shaking his head.
Ghosts weren't inherently bad and he did believe in them, but he was anxious at the thought of them. Besides the obvious, who wants to be haunted by any sort of spirit, good or bad? Isn't it all just bad? All you get is the creeping feeling that someone is always there and then bam, turns out somebody has always been there. It would make Milk just want to move into another apartment the next day, not caring how much he left behind as long as he had his textbooks, plants and coral. Otherwise, he would love to not have to be near ghosts, even if he did believe in them. [213W]

    Buttermilk's Name/ Link: Jasmine
Answer to Prompt: "Ghosts? Well, sure! I don't believe anything is impossible, really," she mumbled, hovering over her teacup. "Trusting them is another question entirely. I don't know what they're up to in their little... spirit realm, and I don't know if I ever want part of it. I'm sure some have had run ins, but I've only heard scary stories, and I'm fine staying a good way away from that bag of fun, quite frankly," Jasmine shudders, the tea in her cup swirling as the shivers pass through her hands. "I can't imagine any good would come from an encounter with a ghost, except maybe a good fright! I think I'll stick to sleeping with a nightlight, thank you very much!" she took a large gulp from her cup, finishing what remaining tea there was. "I will say though, if I do become a ghost, I'm coming back to haunt you for asking this question," she chuckled, cocking an eyebrow at Azai, who was on the other side of the table.
