I could really use some help with harvesting the crops this year. Would you mind lending a hand? I can get you some tasty sunflower seeds in return. Just run on out to the field over yonder and bring back whatever you can carry!”

Carmie is open to meeting new people, but doesn't really like it. She had a small band of friends growing up, but was separated from them due to... reasons. She likes the fact that anyone she meets could become a close friend or even, say, a partner in life, but she sucks at small talk and is overall quite anxious.
When meeting new people, she's shy and nervous. She doesn't give away much information about herself other than her name. Carmie leaves it up to whoever she's talking with to actually start the conversation, which often leads to the other moo getting nervous aswell and sometimes walking away with an awkward goodbye.
Carmie is not a judgey cow. She acknowledges that everyone is different and some are a little wack, but she knows that some cows are not who they appear to be. She keeps her mind and heart open.
If only she was good at talking.

Prompt: Triton has a whirl of a time meeting new people. This small, shy, farm boy doesn't have many interactions outside of his immediate family and even then he tends to keep to himself. One of his flaws is looking people in the eye and he's entirely too aware of the fact that people will think of him differently because of it. He has an anxious habit of kicking up dirt with his feet when he speaks to people as well, a visual representation of him trying his best to push his negative thoughts away and concentrate on what the other person is saying. However, there is a chance to see a rare side of him. If you happen to strike up a conversation about plants, the woods, and what potential creatures lurk inside the almost mystical feeling forest, his eyes will immediately light up and you might even have a hard time getting him to stop talking.

prompt: buona is a night owl! she doesn't spend a lot of time awake in the day when other buttermilks are out and about, so she doesn't meet many new people often. on the rare occasions that she is up during the day (for farm chore runs, or the festivals in town), buona finds it hard to relate to strangers. she's naturally sociable and outgoing, but still finds other buttermilks odd. her life is so much different than normal cows that its hard to find something to talk about. most of the time she's stumbling over her words, blushing through bad jokes or cheesy compliments, and in a hurry to run back to the safety of her farm. she loves talking, though, to those who avoid small talk and will discuss their deepest fears, their happiest memory, how they feel about life in general. she wants an intellectual, deep conversation: not something superficial or boring or only an attempt to make buona like them. she wants something real.

Prompt: pandora is awful shy, and for that reason, she gets nervous meeting other buttermilks. heck, she was the second heifer to join the gladiola herd, but she's still dead last in terms of ranking - she even falls below the calves! she's just too nervous to confront any new buttermilk to join the herd, so she instantly lets them rank above her. and don't even get her started on buttermilks outside the herd - she's been known to just awkwardly scurry off when a more extroverted buttermilk tries to be friendly! she feels bad about it, afterwards, but she just freezes up and then wants to run. she's not sure why - she isn't particularly afraid of any sort of interaction. she would just rather keep to her own little bubble! she misses when the herd was just her and another quiet moo - now, she feels like half the herd are new to her, since she's avoided meeting them, and it makes her nervous.
