PJ has always adored aquatic animals of all sorts, from the weirdest of the weird to the most beautiful and intelligent creatures there can be. Her favorite of them all though has always been the dorky and adorable little pajama cardinalfish - a extremely peaceful and social saltwater reef fish. PJ's favorite thing about them - besides their darling patterning - is their parenting style; pajama cardinals will create little peaceful family groups where the papas will incubate the baby eggs in their mouths, and if anything happens to one the others will take over and adopt in the orphaned eggs. Pajamas are also one of the few members of the apogonidae family that uses friendly social interactions to develop their group hierarchy rather than aggression or dominance - something PJ thinks everybun could take note of now a days!
