making rock stacks! stella’s been balancing rocks since she was a kitten, adventuring through the forest with her mother. after her mother taught her how to make dandelion flower crowns, stella became intrigued with anything made from nature, from wood carving, to grass weaving, and finally, to rock stacking. she loves the natural, almost poetic juxtaposition of a balancing statue, felled at the slightest touch, built from the strength of assorted, nearly unbreakable stones. others may laugh at a hobby surrounding rocks of all things, but stella, like a rock, stands her ground.
