As Maksim carefully stepped through the piles of leaves, the satisfying crunch filled his ears and mind with pleasure. Crunching leaves is a universal satisfaction and simply pleases one's ears. It is like stretching your back and muscles after laying down for a long period of time. Or undoing the tightly braided show braids from your mane after a successful show. Rolling in mud on a hot day to instantly cool yourself. Just life's simple pleasures that everyone enjoys. Maksim smiled as the warm sun slowly pulled back its cold blankets of fog. Rays of sunshine stretched out and caressed his cheeks. In the distance stood an inviting and curiosity-evoking mountain of leaves someone had raked together to clear the pathway. His grin grew larger by the second as he approached the pile of crunchy leaves his childish mind desired to trample and stomp on until he was satisfied with the amount of crunching and crinkling. He broke into a gallop and in mere matter of seconds, he screeched to a halt, just inches in front of the massive pile. Maksim full force stomped and pranced in the pile of leaves until they were all shattered and torn. Thus, no more crunching was to be had.
