Kerry only really ever got along with Pongo and Ollie. Now, there were other pups in the litter, but she just didn’t bond with them like she did the two boys. Right from the start they did everything together: they nursed together, the two boys always seeming to wait for Kerry, played together because Pongo and Ollie were just so empathetic to the shy Kerry, ran together and even napped together. When things were tough, the boys were always there for their sister. They never let her give up...They brought the shy gal many places with them and their owners, pushing her from her comfort zone. Eventually, she made friends because of them. To this day, they’re thick as thieves, three peas in a pod.

Prompt - Now that Kalilah is older she has greater respect for the two friends of hers and loves them with all her heart (c;). Kali still jokes around after the events that happened so many years ago when the trio was in obedience training together, which is one of the first times Kali met Obi and Cora.
xxxxKali's favorite memory with Cora was definitely not one of Kali's best moments. After the girls had been there a while they had started a small little competition, and just because they both had a crush on the same dog, Obi. A month or so into the showing off, Kali tried showing off a bit too much. Kali was slowly learning how to most basic tricks and had tried to show off a bit, but in the process, she made a large mess that maybe she should have thought would have happened. Kali was standing to wait for class to start when she saw Cora doing a few basic tricks when she then started to mimic what Cora was doing. Kali followed every move but thought she was doing better. When Cora was told to dance and had some trouble with it, Kali snickered to herself and danced, however, the dog sitting next to her had their tail just laid on the ground next to her paw and that's when chaos struck.
xxxxThe dog next to Kali yelped and nipped as its tail was stood on, causing Kali to do what seemed like an odd little spin and fall into some food and water dishes sat out. She was then covered in wet and hard kibble as well as water. She looked up with what seemed to be sadness or maybe even anger and then she had to have a bath later that night which was even worse for her, but she learned, watch what trick you are doing, and what's around you.

Now Kali's memory with Obi was one of the first times they had met, just cause it stuck so vividly in Kali's mind.
xxxxRemembering Obi first walking into that class, still sends chills down Kali's spine. He was freshly groomed and smelled what seemed like rain dew and honey. His fur had curled just slightly on the top of his head and he seemed so sparkly to Kali at the time. He didn't pull on the leash like most of the other dogs who would walk into the training room, and he seemed to listen pretty well, besides the fact that he seemed to be off in his own little world, following a fly around the room not even a few minutes later.
xxxxAnd yet, Kali fell head over heels at first glance. Obi was slightly toned for his young age and seemed very much like a good suiter as she put it in her head, at least that's her mother had told her what a good mate was. So, her feelings, weren't true towards personality or anything, just looks, but that's when the friendship started for them.

XxxxObi sat in the back of the shelter’s car, laying his head down as the it bumped down the road, trees flying past the windows. When they first stopped he thought that they were there, however turns out they were picking up two more dogs on the way to the shelter.
“Obi wake up bud.”
He lifted his head and two more Dalmatians entered the cars. Obi wagged his tail and lifted his head, smiling and barking. Seeing and smelling, realizing who they were. He wagged around and jumped on this, licking their faces and getting to see his friends again and share some more time with them.

Prompt - I never thought that I would smell anything familiar upon first entering the shelter. So, when the people lead me over to a kennel with two other dalmatians, I was absolutely floored. The loneliness in my heart sipped out with broken cracks. My tail, once sagging down between my legs, now high up in the air. I had remembered them from a long time ago. We were all puppies at obedience classes. I distinctly remember the male as a kind brute, and me having a slight crush on him. Whereas the female, was more like... a friendly rival. We had gotten along great when the male wasn't around. However, with him in the picture, it was just pure jealousy. We tried messing one another up and showing off to impress him. But I think I made more of a fool of myself then anything. I believe their names were Obi, and Kalilah? Now, I'd like to hope all of that is behind us. Lots has changed and somehow we all ended up back together. Being a purebred dog in a high society community only brought on low self-esteem and self-consciousness. I get paranoid easily and freak out over the smallest details particularly being out of place. The memories make me realize I use to be carefree and courageous. What had happened to me in that time span from then to now? What about about the others and their past? ...Perhaps we were meant to find each other here and help rebuild ourselves. I could potentially be that puppy that wasn't scared of what others thought of her again!
