Falox was out patrolling with her fellow pride mates. They went to each border, of each cliff and hill. Flaox, Kalix, and some others were slowly creeping in the bush-line was they scented odd scents near their trusty borders. She snarled as she launched up, and pounced on whatever was their. A stray lion. The lion smelt odd, and she did not take it. She sneered in his face, "You are on Oakali Territory," her ears were pinned back. On most cases, Falox would harshly warn then, pouncing them, or sneering in their face. Sometimes she is judged for her harsh ways, but she is a well respected leader, and is never doubted.
The lion didn't say anything. A few seconds passed and Falox unleashed her claws, and snarled a nose away in his face
"You have your warning, one more and I won't play around."
Lions usually try to calm Falox down, to not get a bad rep, but Falox never listens.
If the lion leaves, and runs away without turning back, or trying to creep back in the territory, she is fine, and flicks her tail and creeps back to camp. If this lion chooses not to, oh-ho, the worst fight you'll ever see. But Falox holds back. Kalix describes it as unbearable rage, but Falox claims its just being "assertive".

Intruders were not common in the territory of Thunder Mountains. They hardly ever even get visitors, except for the few neighboring prides that happened to live some what close. This is why nobody had a plan for when an intruder happened to invade their territory.

Aysu was the one who discovered him. She was out scouting for materials and hadn't been expecting anything out of the usual. It also happened to be one of her first days being alone while scouting, for Aysu has recently completed her training to be a scout. She almost didn't even notice him until he was only a couple of feet away. Aysu had jumped up in surprise. After catching her breath, she hurried back to camp.

The first lion Aysu contacted was Ganien, the leader. She hoped he knew what to do. He did not, and now both of them were freaking out. Ganien suggested the Aysu go see Icicle, and to report back to him after Icicle had observed the situation.

Aysu thought this was a good idea. Even though she was mostly silent and very reserved, Icicle tended to know what to do in situations such as these.

Icicle wanted to go and see who the intruder, even after Aysu explained that he was a 'terrible and dangerous beast.' So Aysu lead Icicle to see him.

When they reached the beast, Icicle scowled at Aysu. She opened her mouth angrily and said, "That's a raccoon, you dingbat. That thing can't harm any lion." Icicle then walked off back towards the camp. Untroubled and with her new information, Aysu walked happily behind Icicle, getting ready to share all about this mysterious raccoon to her clanmates. No one wanders into the territory of the Waves. The path is far too harsh. So when Nuria comes across a lion that has made it beyond the sandbar and crossed the great expanses of open sea to get to one of the islands, she knows they come for a reason.

"I was abandoned," some say.
"I was kicked out," respond others.
"I ran away."
"I escaped."
"I fled."

These are all common answers, usually delivered from the mouths of scared, shaking lions. Nuria hears their stories, and determines whether they will fit in with the pride and its culture and code of conduct. Rarely has she turned someone away.

Every now and then, she meets a lion who isn't shaking. One who meets her gaze with a bit of a wistful look in their eyes.

"The sea called me," they say, tone soft and filled with wonder. "It told me to come, and so I did. You have to listen when the sea calls you."

The sea itself vouches for them, the breeze carrying a whisper of truthfulness to Nuria's ears. These are the lions that Nuria welcomes as siblings, for that is what they are, and the sea has called them home.

Bandit is old now. Too old to perform his duties, the others said. It’s the way of the pride. If those in your position think you can’t perform your duties satisfactorily anymore, you’re retired. But Bandit still remembers his days guarding their territory.

The warriors’ job is to patrol the territory for poachers and lions that got too close to the pride’s den. He was well respected by his fellows. Strong and cool under pressure, he was someone the younger warriors looked up to. Intruders were chased off with prejudice. Most carried home marks from his claws to remind them of their transgressions. Eventually, just having him in the patrol was enough to send trespassers running. Bandit took threats to his pridemates’ safety seriously. Those that were caught near their home left covered in wounds, or not at all.

Answer: Doyel loves intruders. They are a challenge she never refuses, in fact they are a challenge that she often looks forward to. She susses out their defenses first, their motives, watches and guesses what makes them tick and how to make it work towards her advantage. Then she goes talks to them, she puts on persona after persona each tailored for an individual intruder and she gets under their skin. Sometimes she plays the lost maiden, other times a hardened warrior, but slowly and surely she worms into the intruders mind and starts to direct them. Its a challenge sometimes, getting them to give up their wandering or fight-picking ways to come join her pride but that to her is half the fun.

But intruders beware, for Doyel is a sore loser, if you dont join her she will attack, no longer with words but with claws. She isnt one to give up either, so you better run fast.
