As is common with border collies, this kiddo was dropped off after being simply not the right energy and maintenance type of dog for the original owner. How sad </3 They seem to be reacting well though!

Specter, when first handed a puzzle toy, looked at it in confusion.
"What is this?" He thought as he growled and pawed at the toy. It smelled like food but it didn't taste nor seem like food.
After messing with it for a while and listening to the clinking of whatever thingamabob made the noises, a treat popped out of an opening. Slowly, Specter realized what was going on. The clinking thingamabobs - those were treats. The toy smelled of treats because it was hiding them!

Prompt -Lacie stared at the strange contraption in front of her, tilting her head to the side. She sniffed it, catching the smell of a treat. Lacie pushed the toy, expecting a treat to be there but there was nothing. She looked at it confused, deciding that throwing it would be the best option. She tossed it up, it came right back to her, hitting her head. Lacie backed up, glaring at the toy. She repeated this over and over again until the treat finally popped out. She threw the toy into the corner, eating her treat. Lacie ended up staring the toy down for the rest of the day.

I couldn't quite figure it out.... What was I supposed to do? I tried barking for it to be opened by the human, and they just patted my head. I tried biting, digging, barking, whining, everything I could just to get the darn thing to give me the delicious smelling treat that might be inside. That was all in the first few minutes of the toy being placed before me.

Let's just say I am a genius though, as I rolled the darn thing, and it released some treats a few lengths away from each other. That's all I had to do was roll it. My new owner was so proud of me that he took it away for the night before placing my own kibble in it. I love that toy so much.
