Meadowclan
Lilacstar and larksky made their way through the long grass. They soon came to a stream. Larksky headed to the edge of the water in search of herbs. While Lilacstar leaped across to inspect the border for prey and potential threats. As she made her way to the border Lilacstar’s thoughts wondered. Meadowclan has survived it’s first leaf-bar without losses or any signs of sickness, but Larksky needed new herbs and newleaf prey was skinny and tough from the moons of ice and snow. Pulling herself back to the present, Lilacstar began sent marking the border. Keeping her mouth open in search of any unusual sense.

Shoreclan

Shellstar padded out of the sandy camp, heading to the forest where there was likely to be a more plentiful amount of prey. Although she preferred remaining on the shore where the territory was longer, herbs grew and prey roamed in the forest. Besides, she needed to secure the borders. With not many cats in her ranks yet, Shellstar had to go on patrols herself and leave the others to protect the camp. Although she had lived here for many moons, who knew what kind of dangers would come to her clan.

The cream she-cat parted her mouth slightly and scented the air. There were many animals around Shellstar, now that it was finally newleaf. She knew that her clan would thrive as the weather got warmer, the herbs start flourishing, and the animals began breeding again. For her, she thought that newleaf was one of the best seasons to be in the forest. For the beach, however, Shellstar loved greenleaf. That meant that she could sun herself often on the sand and listen to the waves lapping at the shore.

A few birds were heard overhead, and she noticed the scuttering of rodents nearby. Shellstar couldn't help but smile and sigh with relief. Her small clan would be safe for now... she hoped. Nothing seemed off yet.

Bramblehawk took on the responsibility for hunting. +2FP, +1 mouse, +2XP
Mapleberry searched the area for herbs. +1 Coltsfoot, +1XP

Bramblehawk and Mapleberry scouted the area. They soon managed to spot the group of strangers, observing them from between the branches of a bush. There were only two cats and they haden't noticed anything. Anger still coursed though Bramblehawk's body, but stayed calm and communicated with Mapleberry through signals to follow him. With an advantage on his side, Bramblehawk attacked the closer of the cats, leaping out of his hiding spot. Mapleberry followed.
The fight was short and a little messy. The strangers were weak and seemed to be inexperienced in fighting. As soon as they found an opening, they rushed out of the battle and out of Lionclan's territory. Perhaps they intended to steal some resources and leave unnoticed, but their plan failed miserably.
One of the cats managed to injure Mapleberry, but it wasn't a deep cut. A couple of licks should be all it needs to heal. Battle won, +5XP
Catching their breath and happy with the victory, Bramblehawk noticed something in the grass, dropped by one of the rogues. +1 Forever Young (apprentice lineart), +1XP

Foxstar padded through the forest silently, he'd found a new home after leaving his twolegs behind. Or rather, they had left him behind and he'd been guided since by Starclan to his new home. His whiskers twitched as he scented the air, patrolling the borders of his lands, on the lookout for dangers and also hunting as he went. The air was warming up, the trees growing leaves and flowers growing. The sun shone high in the sky and he could hear birds flitting through the trees above. In theory, hunting should be fairly easy enough, the land seemed promisingly full of life. He only wondered what Starclan had in store for him in his future now.

Kestrelstar padded slowly through his territory, keeping his ears pricked for any prey sounds. Newleaf had come, and now the hunger moons should be over... should be.

He was so busy trying to find prey that he tripped over a fallen log and fell head over heels into a snowbank. Kestrelstar popped up and shook out his pelt, clambering out of the snowdrift. Even though newleaf was warming the earth, there was still some very cold snow left! Kestrelstar felt his pelt grow hot with embarrassment. He was just lucky that he was off on patrol by himself; imagine his mortification if one of his Clanmates had witnessed his stumble!

Rogue cats?! That's the last thing they need in this rough time of absence of their precious leader, Dovewing. How would she handle this? What would she want us to do? Heartworm's mind raced at the news of this upcoming threat, before delivering orders to her patrol.

"Dovewing would want us to stand and fight! Protect our territory which we've called home. We must not allow rogues to take advantage of us like this!." She screeched with her fur beginning to stand up on her spine to appear larger. "Dreampaw, race to camp and gather the strongest fittest warriors which are able to defend their territory and we will follow the scent, Meet us in battle against these cats."

The meek apprentice's eyes grew in fear and anticipation, her first battle, the clan's first battle none the less. "But... Dovewing wouldn't want that!! She would want us to open our paws to them and recruit them in our court, she would want a diplomatic peaceful solution. Blood should not be spilled by chamomile court's warriors, Heartworm! Our cats are weak and hungry from the lack of her guidance, you can't put the life of your clan mate's in danger." Her teeth barring in anger, her mother wouldn't allow this.

The tabby bi-color grew in size with more rage at the sound of the apprentice talking back and disputing her orders. "Go! don't talk to your elders like that or you will never become a warrior. You will never be able to live up to your mother's legacy!" Her claws stretched out to slice into the smaller cat but before she had the chance, Dreampaw had bolted off towards camp with her tail tucked between her legs.

The two older cats watched her disappear into the rows of flowers, " You were too hard on her, I don't know if we will come out of this battle successful. It might be safer to take her approach." Cowbell added to break the tension thick within the air.

Heartworm slashed out her tail which was large with rage as she padded towards the scent of the rogues. " We will start this interaction with peace but we need warriors on the way in case they don't want a peaceful outcome. We must be prepared."

The tom nodded softly before turning to follow the she-cat warrior, who had stopped to gobble up some scraps before this potential battle.

Shoreclan

Shellstar's ears perked up when she heard a rabbit hopping across the forest floor and pausing to nibble at a strand of grass. Crouching, she approached it slowly and hoped she could catch it in time. However, it heard her and took off sprinting. She chased after it, dodging trees and roots on the way while she kept it in her sights. Unfortunately, it took off down a hole. Shellstar slowed to a trot and panted, cursing under her breath. Why can't I catch anything lately? she thought and shook her head. As she did, she spotted some scraps of a random prey animal that an outsider possibly left behind and smiled victoriously. It wasn't a fresh-kill, but it was something. Shellstar buried it swiftly and made a mental note to return.

A moment after, she also remembered that she needed to collect herbs, too. The cream she-cat had promised herself she would since the herb storage in the medicine cat den was low after leaf-bare. Shellstar wandered around until she came to a large patch of greenery and sifted through the grass. It took her some time because she wasn't thoroughly trained in herbs, but she eventually came across a patch of rush and picked some. Shellstar returned to the place where she buried the scraps and unburied them, carrying both of the items in her jaws. By the time she reached camp, her mouth ached as she set the scraps on the fresh-kill pile and the herbs in the medicine cat den.

Her adventures were not done, however. Shellstar was determined to find the outsider that kept leaving scraps in her territory, and she hoped to possibly recruit them as a member of her clan. But she also knew that she shouldn't get her hopes up.

Exhaling heavily, she left her sandy shores to return to the forest and came back to the place where she found the scraps. Perhaps the outsider lived in the forest and knew nothing about the clan?

She sat and waited patiently, her eyes scanning the area for signs.
