hello and welcome to this competition! this kit has another side, found here. also, i am hosting another competition here if interested in it.

for this competition, it would be a naming competition. however, the meaning of the name must relate back to something to do with them like personality, favorite hobby, backstory, etc.. the name meaning may be made up or taken from a website. word count is 500 words, a couple words over is fine, and art is limited to one piece. an extra of two hundred words and/or one piece of art may included into the entry.

things to point out:

- this was an ooc breeding so there are no ties to the parents or other kits in the batch
- make sure to follow cs rules
- if you want an extension, please ask the day before or earlier than the end date for one

When I tell you the meaning of my name, what do you think?

My fur?..... Yeah that's what I thought....

It's always the same... I mean it doesn't really surprise me I know that I'm different. I just wish it wasn't the only thing people noticed about me....

It's because of how I was born that people want to be my friend... But that the thing it's only because of my split colors! They don't know me.... Not the real me. They just see what they want.

It's not like I choose to be this way... It's not like I want to stand out... And please don't get me wrong I like myself the way I am it's just... I wish for once someone would see me for me and not my fur color...

How does it connect to them: circe has a complicated past. She never knew her parents or her siblings, or if she even had siblings. What she foes know is that she was raised by wild dogs. In the pack, because she wasn't actually a wild dog, she was made omega. Suffering quietly through torment and humiliation, all she wanted to do was grow wings and fly far, far away.
Extra: in the pack, they gave her the name marley, but after she left she named herself Circe.

Quillon is undeniably strong of both body and mind. As an apprentice blacksmith, he has to be, in order to hold up under the long hours spent in the blistering forge. Even before he was old enough to take on his apprenticeship, however, he has always had a dedicated, determined nature. Nowadays, he pours that dedication into honing his craft- and though it is not an easy career by any means, Quillon has persevered and become stronger still as a result of his hard work.

The second meaning to his name, ‘crossing swords,’ is more of an unrealized dream. Though he loves his work, Quillon sometimes catches himself dreaming about learning to wield swords, not just make them. He pours his care into each one he crafts, and takes pride in being one of the smiths responsible for equipping the next generation of Sunguards- including his own sister- and yet. Sometimes, once a sword has cooled, he will take it up and practice with it, whirling and darting about and imagining what it would be like to cross swords with the other young guards-in-training.

Overall, this serious young kalon is well-suited to his name. Even if only half of it is realized.

Rose, sometimes also called Shard or Crystal depending who you're talking to, is tough and will
not only stand up for herself but for others as well, and her protective, almost mother-like,
nature is hard to break through, no matter how hard anyone tries. She knows what it was like to
grow up without anyone supporting her, after being left in a forest from a young age, and doesn't
want anyone else to feel alone. If you dare mess with her or anyone close/she knows, you
