Welcome to the Euphorian Retired Racehorse Project
Euphorian Thoroughbreds are a rare string of the Thoroughbred breed. They come from a single farm simply called “Euphoria” that has horses with mutated genes. These allow them to be able to possess any realistic coat or markings. Everything else about the sub-type is the same. Long, strong legs, a powerful hind, and great speed. Their eyes are soft and the breed is incredibly smart, if not a bit goofy. They love kids and have the rare ability to excel in any discipline. They can grow from 15hh-18hh, though usually somewhere in the middle.
The horses readopted through the Euphorian Retired Racehorse Project are looking for a new loving home and a new job. They’ve tried racing and have either retired or decided the sport wasn’t for them. Either way, they are ready for the next chapter in their life. Some of these horses will come with a little training already, and will have their new discipline already determined. Although others you’ll get to pick how they move forwards!

At first, she didnt really care, no big deal, new herd. Val eventually got close to the Lusitano, Crepe, and she became the lead mare in time. She was put on the market three months later and now shes been at a sale barn up until this moment when the owner of Amber Hollow laid eyes on her. The mare would be coming home if everything played out well...

As her eyes fell on everything around her, she soon came face to face with a little blonde boy.
The boy seemed to be holding up some daisies. Without a second thought, she munched down on the delicious flowers, causing the little boy to let out a giggle. "Happy Valentine's Day, Paisley!" the boy said and left as quickly as he came.

The mare's ears perked up with delight, 'it's Valentine's day?!'
She looked around and saw a whole group of maybe 5 to 10 kids bunch up around her, each one holding a bouquet of daisies.
The mare snorted and began eating all the flowers they gave her. This marked a new tradition.
Every year kids fed her flowers and she would lick them on the nose as a thank you.

When the sun goes down, and it's time to head home, she grabs a bunch of daisies to bring with her.
At the entrance, she laid eyes on her girlfriend, Squeaker. The blue-eyed mare waited for her.
The gates closed and they were reunited. The bay mare gave the blue taffy the flowers.
Every year the two exchange flowers and mark their love with a kiss.

Descending from the trailer, the mare put on her best stride, held herself confidently, putting on a show for the horses who resided in her new home. Most who were in the pastures raised their heads, some even ventured over to the fences, offering their noses in welcome.

But he didn’t.

With grey head positioned upwards, she could see his closed eyes, completely ignoring her arrival for a moment of enjoying the sun. And that wouldn’t do. Stopping in her tracks, despite the human’s tugging on her leadrope, she sent an impatient nicker to him. He was plain, a simple grey with nothing but a smattering of dapples gracing his hind, who was he to ignore as beautiful a mare as she?!
At her impatient sound, the stallion lowered his head, eyes opening to reveal the cause of his ignoring. Eyes, white as glass, stared blankly back at her, head tilted as an expression of confusion crossed his face. Immediately, Venus felt guilty for being so impatient, this time offering a gentle greeting. The blind stallion took her invitation with glee, crossing the uneven terrain towards her with an unusual confidence.

Since that day, every time they passed each other, Venus made sure to offer Dante a small nicker. It didn’t take him long to learn her scent, and, soon enough, the pattern of her hooffalls. Soon, his ears would perk at her approach, he’d be the first to send her a greeting.

Before long, they were inseparable.
