Six years ago Colton had gotten lost in the forbidden Forest of Whimzé.
While lost in the forest, Colton's left eye was damaged and resulted in complete blindness in that eye.
He had been stuck in the Forest of Whimzé for three days by the time he met Mina, a Glitter Minamunk.
She saved him from the dangers of the forest, and guided him back to the entrance, but in the end she had adopted Colton as her companion and stayed by his side ever since.
After getting out of the forest, Colton grew out his hair to cover his eyes to hide the heterochromia caused by the blindness.
With his air covering his good eye, he can't see too well and as a result has become very clumsy.

Mina loves to live in Colton's hair, and is found atop his head the majority of the time, if not his shoulder.
Mina works as Colton's eyes and directs him to where he needs to go by chirping and squeaking to alert him on what to do.
In a way she is like a guide dog for Colton.

Colton's bond to Mina is so strong that whenever they are separated he feels like half of him is missing, and Mina can get into a frenzy if she is without him, depending on the situation.
They are like the two pieces of bread and their bond is the peanut butter and jelly, perfectly completed together.

They are the best of friends who live in their own world together, and that is saying a lot because minamunks are very much a pack family creature that rarely leave their species groups on their own and bond with other creatures.
Although it isn't uncommon for born domesticated minamunks to have such bonds.

Harry the Hairdryer has been there since the beginning.

Ever since Dovydas was young, he's wanted to open his own hair salon. However, by the time he was old enough and ready to make it official, he was only making enough money at his current job to buy some of the furniture and rent the space where he planned to set up. In order to make his dream a reality, he needed supplies.

As apromise of their support and assistance, his parents presented him with his very own hairdryer. It wasn't much, but that hairdryer was a sign to him that everything was turning around. And it was. With his own hard work, along with the generous help of his friends and family, he was able to officially open his salon.

He treasured the hairdryer, and still does. He used it the first day his salon was open and now, even though it doesn't work anymore, it's still there. He keeps it in its own chair behind his desk. Its name is Harry, and he considers it the salon's good luck charm. He has frequent conversations with Harry. His employees are expected to greet Harry whenever they enter his office.

so sorry about the wait on this one!! this was probably one of the most difficult comps I've had to judge, literally all the entries were lovely and I'd have you all win if I could ;_;
