Moons ago, the five warrior clans, ThunderClan, WindClan, RiverClan, ShadowClan, and SkyClan were destroyed by a massive storm. A tornado tore through the territories, and a massive forest fire ran through ThunderClan. The cats who were able to escape alive fled. With the remaining cats, ancestors and living cats worked together to rebuild what was lost. Things have changed now and its been many years. Will you join and help them rebuild?

Welcome to Rays of New Light. You may also see us go by RoNL or Rays, the latter being most common. This is a wild cat arpg based off the Warriors series by Erin Hunter, with some inspiration from Rise, where you win cats, level up, and grow your group! You can have a clan, a tribe, or anything else you can think of.

Rules

General Rules

• Follow CS' and Tess' rules
• Do not bully or harass fellow members of Rays or the staff
• After 3 strikes, you will be permanently banned
• If/when you are banned, your cats will be readopted
  and you will no longer be allowed to use their official refs
• You may request the artist give you a transparent ref for a cat
• You will not be added to a cat's ref
• Don't hesitate to ask staff questions! We're here to help ^^
  
  Member Rules
• You may only receive a free founder once.
• If you do not level up to level 1 in one month, your founder
  will be readopted and you will have to win or buy a new founder
• Do not whine, cry, or create a sob story if you don't win a cat
  or get a custom. You will receive a strike.
• Custom's may be bought with C$, DA points, HM's, CS Pets,
  and CS Event Tokens
  
  • You may get up to two (2) customs a month
  • Please wait until an artist states that they are opening
    their customs before posting a form and make sure to read it
    fully to see what they are taking
  • Customs must be paid for before the artist starts unless they
    state otherwise
  • 5 HM's = A semi-custom - You choose gender, base, and eye color,
    the artist chooses the rest!
  • HM customs count towards the monthly limit
• Once an artist closes their customs, please wait until
  they post who will get their customs. Do NOT PM them
  or post on the thread asking who got the customs. This
  goes for regular adopts, too.
• If you are banned from Rays Of New Light, you may
  keep the characters but:
  
  • You may not keep using their official
    Rays refs
  • The cats you had owned will be marked deceased
  
  Staff Rules
• As an artist, you are expected to:
  
  • Create at least one adopt a month (please
    let me know if you can't)
  • Take founder forms and get them done in a timely
    manner
  • If you open customs, they should be done in a fair
    amount of time and only do ones you know you can
    currently do
  • Join the discord
  • Ask other staff if you need help with genetics
    or colors
• Growths should be posted under their page
  as soon as possible unless the owner states otherwise.

  • Ask another artist to judge your comp for
    whatever reason
  • PM users if they have not leveled up yet within the
    time limit.
  • Open breedings or customs

Looking to get started in Rays? First, you'll need a founder, which you can claim here! Fill out the founder form below and post it on the thread. An artist will claim it and create a cat based on the description you give unless you put "random," in which case you will get a random cat of their choice! Please stick to normal/realistic cat designs and use this website or look at cat images on google. Pictures help us create founders, so please try and provide examples of what you want (unless you put random).

After you get your founder, you need to level up once
or they will be rehomed. You have a month (one month) to
level up, and a warning PM, or your founder will be readopted.

After you have posted a founder form, you should go over to the
Character Storage forums to host your clan's information. You may
also make it on Toyhouse or your own site, but staff must be able
to view it at any time without needing to sign in or sign up.

To level up, go to the archives and fill out the "Leveling Form" form. For clan
history/summary, you may either link to the information or write it/copy and paste it there.
The history or summary must be at least 100 words.

After you've leveled up, you may now adopt any cats with no limits and you're
cats will not be taken away from you unless the staff has good reason to.

In the next post, you can find ways to earn special items, such as scar tickets,
accessories, free customs, and more. You will have to do a certain amount of
tasks to get the rewards, and all rewards can be won multiple times. Items
that have more tasks and harder tasks are generally going to be rarer
items such as a ghost/spirit custom or milestone custom. When ordering a
custom or breeding, please state whether you are using items or not (such as
a free semi-custom or free custom ticket) and proof of ownership.
