After eating the scrumptious vole Lynxstar padded along hungrily. Although her paws crunched under the freezing snow, lynxstar figured out the best way to walk with making the least amount of noise. +1vole, +2FP, +2XP vole soup last night, vole soup tonight, and I'll be darned if its vole soup tomorrow!

Dewdrop followed the scent carefully making sure to place her paws delicately so as not to make too much noise. Dewdrop finally came upon the creature which as she creeped closer she was able to see that the squirrel had died from starvation and some other creature had gotten to it first. Dewdrop sighs, that's not worth bringing back to the clan. Desktop picked up the scent of fox all over the squirrel. Will the mollies pursue the scent?
Desktop continued walking, a bit disapointed in her lack of prey. Luckily daybreak, who was following just behined her, was looking at the ground. Her ears perked as she noticed a strange thing poking from the snow. Quickly she used her paws with sheathed claws to dig up the objects. She found wild garlic! Dewdrop who had stopped to watch also noticed something a few mouse lengths away, she plucked the leafy herbs up. +2daisy leaf, +2wild garlic, +4XP
Daybreak starts to feel unwell, the medicine cat confirms her fear and she is in fact sick. Good news is she will get better with a single herb.

The leader and deputy duo strolled side by side with their tails held at equal heights, a tone of joy and silence set the mood as the two cats calmly conversed about their days. Exchanging lovely facts like what they ate for breakfast and their last dream about sprinting through the familiar flower fields, the look seemed so joyous to have some together just to catch up without any little apprentices butting in and putting their nose in their warrior cat duties.

Dovewing had raised the amber colored deputy as if he were her own son, having a tight knit bond with the boy and favoring him more than her own daughter. She hopes other don't catch onto her favoritism especially her single kit, Dreampaw. I wonder how she would react? Would she even care, she was too busy with her warrior friends and training to chit chat with her mom. I hope it wouldn't hurt her too bad if she ever noticed. The naive leader was left oblivious and in the dust as to if sensitive daughter feeling's to the two cat's kin-like bond.

Hopefully the two could bring home a nice snack for the solid snow colored apprentice waiting back at the gazebo camp!

cherrystar trudged through the snow, almost belly deep. leaf-bare was definitely a tough season to begin living in the wild, all on her own for that matter! well, she would make it work! i mean, it’s not like she really has a choice, unless she wants to freeze to death out here.
each paw-step resulted in a ’crunch' of the sparkling snow that blanketed the forest floor.
she wasn’t sure exactly what she’d find out here, or honestly, what to even start looking for! she hoped she would be able to find some food before the weather got too bad… if she could get home before snow began falling, that would be ideal! cherrystar never liked the snow.

The recent snow had melted, but temperature was still low. It was impossible to find any tracks on the frozen ground. After a while of searching Honeystripes managed to pick up a scent of a small rodent and followed it. It will still be a while before spring when prey is plentiful, but for now a mouse will have to do to satisfy their hunger. +1FP, +1 mouse, +1XP

With no experience in hunting or herb gathering, Cherrystar tried out some different techniques. She dug under the snow, but the herbs she found were wet and rotten. She looked up the trees, but all their leaves had fallen off and she found nothing but icicles. Following a trail left in the snow has also proven unsuccessful as it was old and ended in the forest with branches so thick there was barely any snow on the ground. At least this area seemed more likely to have some fresh herbs. Looking under a rock she finally managed to find some dried leaves. +1 Dried Oak Leaf, +1XP

“Why!” Meowed Lilacstar as she trudged through the deep snow. The usual sunny meadow was now covered in a cold blanket of snow. Lilacstar’s usually chipper attitude had been absent ever since the first frost. As she trudged through a wet snowdrift Lilacstar daydreamed about the spring flowers not due for another moon.

As Lilacstar made her way through the soft snow sparkling in the morning light, she realised there was one plus to the cold season. Prey was much easier to spot. She noticed a mouse scurrying over the top of the snow layer, it's body too light to make the snow collapse under it. Of course, that meant that Lilacstar would be easier to notice as well. Slowly, she lay in the snow, her ears flat on her head, her nose held low, so only her white back was visible. She waited for the mouse to get close and caught it with one swift pounce. +2FP, +1 mouse, +2XP

Carrying her prey back to her den, she saw a glimpse of a badger entering her territory. Will she pursue the threat or ignore it?

Sunclan
Upon waking up to the crisp morning air of a cold day, the Sun Keeper stretched from the mouth of her burrow like den with her maw stretched wide with a yawn. Dew clung to the tall grass that surrounded her entrance, leaving her own fur sparkly from the trasnfer that ensued. Laughter and song was the first thing that caught her ear, the cheery drone buzzed about, alerting the matriarchal she-cat to her clan's active and awakened status. None the less, she saw fit to hunt. The call of the billowing wind was far to tantalizing to ignore, and before she knew it she was bounding through the clan, wide eyed and grinning. Cat's of her clan smiled and greeted her as she passed, a green-paw even ran along side her, laughing, before letting her streal away. By the time she had slowed, the white noise of a happy day in the clan had faded into soft sounds of grass shifting and the lone cry of a hawk from up on high. "Let the Earth Mother guide my paws on this exploration today for she feeds the cycle." Touching her nose to the dirt underpaw, she huffs softly with a gleeful smile, before turning and starting to pad off on her adventure.
