hello! i've been meaning to do something like this for a bit, but haven't really had the motivation to recently.
i will be focusing on this adopt center for now, and will be doing little work on my current species and adoptables, but no worries. i will resume work on them all at some point, hoping to reline them!

this adopt center will hopefully help me grow my style. there will usually be one released a day, as i will be making them as warmup sketches! i will also be accepting artists into CIM! there will be forms below for that!

rules

general rules
1. follow all cs rules.
2. be kind to eachother.
3. listen to staff.
4. adopts won or bought within CIM do not have to stay within CIM, but CANNOT under any circumstance be resold, traded, or gifted to anybody outside of CIM. the adopts made within CIM stay within CIM.
5. if you are banned, you do not keep the adopts you have won or purchased. if you're banned, which i hope never happens, you have been banned for a reason.
6. 3 strikes, you're out. | warning = strike | 3 warnings and you get temp ban, after that it's perm ban.
7. adopts made within CIM cannot be bred outside CIM. this rule may change in the future.
8. do not copy designs or original species (species the artist made up).

artist rules
1. artists are required to make at least 1 free adopt before making an adopt that is sold or auctioned.
2. artists may keep an adopt they make if they get attached to it, but must first get permission from me.
3. artists are required to make at least 2-3 adopts a month.
4. artists may open up 5 custom slots at a time, and may have payment as a requirement if they want to.
5. artists may only accept c$ or da points as custom payment.
6. artists get 2 customs a month if they have been active that month. if they keep a design they make, that counts as one of their customs.
7. artists can charge more for a custom if it's complex, and less if it's simple.

creatures in mist, or commonly referred to as "CIM", is an adopt center where artists can release adopts to the communities. there are no pre-made lines, though there may be some in the future. adopts are up to the artist, but are more often than not inspired on something. these can be animals, myths, legends, songs, quotes, moodboards, etc.

adopts in CIM may be obtained a number of ways. they may be raffled, auctioned, sold, or won through competitions such as naming, backstory writing, etc.

in this adopt center, the artists have the freedom to draw what they want to draw, in whatever style they feel comfortable. whether it's cute and fluffy, or weird and menacing!


however, there are some limits....

some species are saved for special adopts, or require approval/permission from me to be used as an adopt or custom.

extremely large dragons
creatures with god/deity-like power or are gods/deities
element guardians [guardians of the sun, moon, earth, water, etc] - this doesn't mean adopts can't have elements
extreme hybrids [crosses between many mythical creatures]
creatures with extreme or many abilities
