Why: Magnos is determined, fierce and proud. A strong fighter, known by many to be of legend, Magnos strikes fear in anyone who crosses her path knowing they are not an ally. Magnos is told to be the strongest lioness around her pride's territory. Because of this, many lions associate her with strength, a worthy opponent in battle. I feel like this song suits her because it sounds like a worthy opponent is approaching. At the same time, it sounds like hop and, since she is a strong fighter, she also became a beacon of hope to the Eternal snow pride.

Kerilyn, though a fortunate and generally optimistic lioness, faces seasonal depression during the later months of the year. She can't say there's a reason, or identify when it started, it's just...always been this way, she supposes. Luckily for her, she has an extensive support group due to the lives she has touched serving as a Denmother. It's certainly not easy, and some days she is beyond help, but Kerilyn feels that she only really sees how much she has done, and how much others care for her, when in her lowest moments. Even when she feels alone and insignificant, even someone as small as a cub will show her otherwise, even if they don't mean it. Kerilyn has a hard time remembering what that feeling is like, especially during the winter months, but finds herself urging others to 'see the light' with her all the same.

Why:
Sapphire was born to a royal princess, her father unknown and her place in the royal family precarious. After the death of her mother when she was just a cub any respect anyone had ever shown her was forgotten and she was cast out, an embarrassment and disgrace.

Though her aunt took her in and loved her, even her protection couldn't fully shield Sapphira from the harsh words others used to put her down and try to show her her place.

At times it hurt her, and as she got older it angered her. But she was determined and drew from her inner strength to get her through those times. She'd remind herself, she was strong and no one's words or harsh looks could bring her down.

Because of how she was treated she became stronger in the end, even if her journey getting there was long and at times painful.
