Name: Zephyr (Zeph) - meaning west wind

Personality: He steps into the spotlight. Slowly, cautiously, one paw after the other. The air is heavy with tension; one wrong move would shatter it.

He is Zephyr. Cousin of Acantha, the famous - or infamous, depending on who you ask - leader of the tribe. He was taken in by her family as a kit, and raised as their own. The two were not close, but they were enough to be siblings. Zephyr was younger, and he was treated as so by Acantha.

He was always seen as smaller, weaker, less important. Everyone's attention just always seemed focused on his older "sister." He was shrouded by her looming shadow, hidden behind the curtains. It wasn't just because he was quiet or because he kept to himself. It was more so a "destiny" they spoke of, her heritage, her bloodline. Her path. As daughter of the ruling family, she would be next in line for the throne.

Zephyr never minded much. He'd never been one to love fame or being in the spotlight; he didn't have the same fire that Acantha had, the same passion in his voice, the same aura of authority. He was, from time to time, a little frustrated at the way he was treated - but he never put much thought into it.

When Acantha first approached him for help in her plan, Zephyr was reluctant. He wasn't eager to involve himself in her meddling.
