Maia is a a withdrawn, gentle mare. She has a sweet spirit and calm personality. She is very tolerant of excitable foals and her more energetic herd members.
Though she is withdrawn she isn't skittish but might be very cautious of strangers or new situations. She is a follower, not a leader, more comfortable helping in the background.

Here is a zebra that is as stubborn as can be. Constantly not wanting to listen to what its told to do or any ideas are given to her. Even if it is the correct thing to do and she ends up doing it later on; she will say it was her idea, not anyone else's. Giving her ego a boost even though it is already super big. She tends to come off as rude with her antics but if you really get to know her she is pretty kind to those she likes. Her way of being kind still comes off as standoffish, her friends can tell when she is though. In her small group of friends, she thinks of herself as the 'mom friend' of sorts. As she looks, after all, them in her own special way. Though she can be reckless at times with them she makes sure they are always okay.

Calypso spends her life with a can-do attitude and her endless curiosity has her finding out new things every day. When exploring, she is constantly checking to make sure her herd is alright. In the face of a threat, she is fearless but not reckless, warning of snakes and kicking at coyotes and anything that does attack. She will not harm if she does not think the creature is attacking first, and she makes a point in the herd to show them what she knows in order to keep them safe as well. Often, she is the leader, or close to the top due to her fearlessness and protectiveness to the group. She has a soft spot to foals, and when a foal is in the herd, she is often nearby or playing with them. She is not as outgoing as you think, however. She is introverted when not approached and is a rather calm anchor for most others. She loves to go exploring on her own and has a large paddock and a lake large enough for her lay in the shallows or swim in the deeper areas.
