It was Honeystripes first time leading patrol since the start of their court, and an honor for the new warrior to be treated as such a respectable and brave cat among-st his clanmates. Despite being a former kittypet, he picked up quickly on clan traditions and rituals which made him a favorite in Dovestar's eyes. This was of course the first of many patrols under Honeystripes, Chamomile court desperately needed to begin their daily routines of border patrols.

In his party, Creamflower, Heartworm and Dreampaw accompanied him not only to sniff out the borders but to feed their clan. Their goals were simple, make sure their borders were being taken seriously by other clans and rogues, refresh their scent marks and bring home a good haul of fresh-kill. Dreampaw was a new appointed apprentice, the daughter of the great Dovestar who wouldn't leave the special mentor-ship up to anybody but her prized Deputy, Honeystripes. Another honor thrown onto him by his leader and her special treatment. It's intense pressure to be training not only the leader's kin but the first Chamomile court born warrior. The first of many cats to be born with their warrior blood, She must be raised and taught to be nothing but the best. Of course this pressure hit Honeystripes hard but had to hit the poor apprentice in a even rougher spot, always wondering if she was enough or right for her role. That didn't stop the small white cat from beaming positive kit-like energy towards her fellow warriors and giving a optimistic look to the world around her. It was probably a cover from her paranoid insecurities and fear of failing her clan.

Leaf-bare had hit and wasn't the best time for apprentices to begin their training, but Dreampaw had a small advantage. Her perfect white fur which disguised her as if she was a small rolling snowball venturing through Chamomile Court's valleys unlike the other cats who stuck out like fire on ice. Fresh-kill was low in camp and the once plump former kittypets have switched into slender wild cats wondering where their next meal will come from. Not only was it a dangerous time for starvation to hit, The lose of clan cats was at high risks. The court was full of cats who once experienced warm homes and fresh yummy meals twice a day, these times would test their loyalty and tempt them to return to a twoleg dependent lifestyle. They needed all the hunting paws they could get even though it would equal more hungry mouths to feed. Hopefully Starclan will guide our patrol into a blessing of mice eager to be caught.

From a pile of rubble and dust slowly appeared a small, pink nose. It sneezed. Blue rummaged around and scratched at broken pieces of wood with his paws until he managed to get himself out or the pile. He shook his fur and more dust flew in the air. As he looked around he noticed similar stone walls as the floor above, but less ornate and rich. These must have been a worker’s room. Kitchens, storages, that sort of stuff. It was dark, but that wasn’t a problem for his keen cat eyes. He noticed wooden shelves with some boxes and glass jars on them. They were all covered with a thick layer of dust and looked abandoned and forgotten. He stepped down from the mess he created by falling down and stopped, noticing a pair of green and blue eyes looking at him from the darkness from under one of the shelves. Blue was only curious and instead of being alert, he simply said in a friendly voice:
“Hello?”
The eyes blinked.
“Hi.”
“Are you the ghost of this manor?”
He heard a soft giggle. The eyes turned out to belong to a very pretty and fluffy cat, as they emerged and moved closer to Blue. The cat was cream and white, as if some milk was spilled on it. Despite the dirty surroundings his fur managed to stay mostly sleek and clean. Blue brushed some dust off of his nose.
“No. I’m Feather. Are you a ghost hunter?”
Blue shook his head.
“I’m an explorer.”
Both cats seemed excited by that.
“I fell through the floor and lost my friends. I need to find them so we can continue our adventure. Do you know how to get out of here?”
Feather nodded and led Bluecloud to a half-open door.

Satisfied that no badger can interrupt them now, Shadow and Ash ventured deeper into the mansion in search of their friend.

Silverclan
Spottedstar fluffed her fur against the chilling winds. Her eyes were narrowed as she searched the undergrowth for movement, her mind straying to other places.
Her twoleg. Her kind twoleg, or what she used to call housefolk, had left her? She still didn't know why. One day, her twoleg had been squawking at the little shiny box it always carried around, then he had put her in the car to go on an adventure! Spottedstar thought they were going to have fun, go to another twoleg's den, like they always did. They traveled in a different direction, however, and they were soon in the middle of nowhere! Her twoleg had let her out, then went back in the car and went away! He had deserted her. She had felt so lonely that day, with no way home, and no idea where she was. Spottedstar had almost cried.
She had started on a journey to find her way back home when she had met these weird forest cats. They called themselves a "clan". They were dirty and skinny, but they fed her. The food they gave her. So much better than the pellets she had eaten all her life! It was so juicy and tender. They called it fresh-kill. One of the wild cats had taught her how to get her own fresh-kill through hunting, something she'd seen on the loud box her twoleg liked. After Spottedstar had learned how to hunt, she left the wild cats to continue on her journey.
That's what she thought. One night, starlit cats spoke to her, addressing her as Spottedstar and gave her nine lives through an awful procedure that was mostly pain.
Now, here she was. Spottedstar, and was searching through the underbrush for a meal.

Birdstar wagged her tail slowly as she crouched under one of the pine trees her clan was named after. The prey-pile was empty at the moment, which was an issue. She had managed to zone out, so when she heard a bird land, she got startled and jumped, scaring it away. She hissed at herself, and then settle down to wait for the next potential piece of prey to come by.
