A Fireflower is a flame looking flower that produces heat. The temperature depends on the season. Normally during the season eggs are laid most often, the flower is at its hottest degree and can be used in nests and for young hatchlings. The fireflower is also ediable and provides relief to tummy aches once harvested, watered down and chewed.

Harichium carhelia, more commonly known as Talon Carhelia or simply Carhelia, is rare species of ground flora. Like other species in the Harichium genus, Talon Carhelia is described as having 'adventitious roots' - more specifically, a root system that predominantly resides above ground. Most individual plants possess five major roots, each spindly and dark, all ending with a distinct 'hook' that arches into the ground below. This clawed-like appearance is what gave the plant it's name. While exact numbers vary, the average length of a Carhelia plant, from the edge of one root to another, is 0.5 meters.
During the spring months, a healthy Talon Carhelia plant will produce a single bulb, which will bloom into a large scarlet flower in the early summer. The nectar found within the flower is well known for its medicinal uses - as it is both anti-bacterial, and when applied to the skin, can act as a local anesthetic.

flora: This small, bright egg was found nestled among the leaves of the Flametongue, a very unique plant even by Rosohax's standards. It's a thermogenic plant, which means that it produces its own heat, something that some smaller dragons seek out when looking for a place to lay their eggs. Flametongues tend to grow in places that are both damp and dark, though it rarely grows taller than a foot. Its leaves are smooth and flat, though edged with small, razor-sharp spines that ward away any potential grazers. The leaves are usually arranged in a conical spiral around a central flower (if female) which famously emits a rather foul-smelling odor when it blooms. Because of its thermogenic properties, its main pollinators are flies and other related insects, which tend to be drawn to its heat and rancid smell. Its defensive mechanisms also provide a good nest for baby dragons that need heat in order to hatch, and some Flametongues can be found with a whole clutch of eggs nestled in its spiny leaves. The Jester's Hat- a large leafed colorful plant that resembles a jesters hat. Dragons usually nest near them as they provide protection from smaller animals, almost like a scarecrow. The flower of the plant resembles a face, and the fruits are filled with small seeds that when touched "jingle" to alert dragons of intruders. The fruits are sweet and juicy, which provide young dragons that hatch with both fun jingling them and a snack. The plants can grow up to four feet, and are usually found in small bunches of three to five at a time.
