Welcome to the Euphorian Retired Racehorse Project
Euphorian Thoroughbreds are a rare string of the Thoroughbred breed. They come from a single farm simply called “Euphoria” that has horses with mutated genes. These allow them to be able to possess any realistic coat or markings. Everything else about the sub-type is the same. Long, strong legs, a powerful hind, and great speed. Their eyes are soft and the breed is incredibly smart, if not a bit goofy. They love kids and have the rare ability to excel in any discipline. They can grow from 15hh-18hh, though usually somewhere in the middle.
The horses readopted through the Euphorian Retired Racehorse Project are looking for a new loving home and a new job. They’ve tried racing and have either retired or decided the sport wasn’t for them. Either way, they are ready for the next chapter in their life. Some of these horses will come with a little training already, and will have their new discipline already determined. Although others you’ll get to pick how they move forwards!

Show Name: The Legend of Magic
Barn Name: Houdini
Gender: Stallion
Age: 7
Height: 17.3 hh
Halter: #FF6C02 for Halter and #FEC106 for hardware
Discipline: Calf Roping
Competition: This guy doesn't do anything to hurt anyone, or scare them (too bad). He doesn't hide or jump out at anyone or intimidate them in a scary costume. This guy likes to minorly inconvenience people.
Sometimes, barn hands and even normal staff at White Orchard tend to leave jackets, saddles, blankets, etc, on the fences, or in the stalls. Houdini likes taking things and making them disappear. He's got a thing for jackets and the hose. Occasionally the saddle blankets if he's not up for roping that day. He'll take whatever it is he wants, and hide it in his stall or waaaay out in the pasture.
Sometimes unsuspecting victims get upset that something is missing, and freak out looking everywhere so they aren't chewed out. And then everyone gets a chuckle, and they're informed it's the great Houdini making them disappear.
The staff like to prank the new helping hands on occasion too and let them find out about Houdini themselves, but sometimes they warn them beforehand so they don't feel bad. For the most part, Houdini gets to play his tricks. They just try to remember not to put within reach of Houdini.

Show Name: Snow Flurries
Barn Name: Scooby
Gender: Stallion
Age: 6
Height: 18hh
Halter: Grey
Discipline: Trail Riding
Competition:
Scooby likes to grab peoples shirts with his teeth (he's very careful not to accidentally bite anyone because people don't taste nice he doesn't want to hurt anyone) and give the fabric a quick tug. Then pretend that he didn't do a single thing wrong with a look that would suggest butter wouldn't melt in his mouth. His stall door was modified in order to try and stop him from annoying people. Somehow Scooby managed to break that modification (nobody has any idea how) and kept on with his silly shirt pulling act, He's since been moved to a different part of the barn, where he can't get at people most of the time. Though he get's people to come over by looking as sad as possible and the moment their back is turned? Shirt pulled, innocent face on for Scooby.
Unless I post somewhere, I'm not selling/trading closed species critters.

Show Name: Fun in Florence
Barn Name: Tuscany
Gender: Stallion
Age: 8 years, 1 month
Height: 17.2hh
Halter: Emerald green
Discipline: Cross country
Competition:
Tuscany, Italy. Where the local wildlife includes bunnies, badgers and boars.
Tuscany, the horse, doesn’t do a great impression of those animals. His sole impression... A giraffe.
Whenever bridles, halters, ropes, collars... anything that might go around his head, his chin reaches for the skies, doing his fantastic impression of the tall mammal. “Bringing In The Giraffe” is our stable’s official sport, with very few people holding a medal in the sport.
We’ve done some testing, and he’s not head shy, he’s not nervous about things restricting his nose... He’s just a brat.
The dance is always the same. The person approaches, often holding the offending item behind their backs or hiding it outside the stall. Tuscany approaches for pats and attention, happily accepting all scratches. As soon as the person begins to reach, or as soon as the mood shifts, as soon as that person begins to move the scratches, he becomes suspicious. And as soon as there’s the slightest jingle of metal, or the sudden flash of nylon, the nose slowly raises up, even if the person tries to push it back down, or deter him in any way. Just like an elevator, the nose goes up steadily, not stopping until it gets to its destination at the very top floor. His nose will remain in the skies, and his eyes look there as well, refusing to meet the gaze of the person during the negotiation phase. Begging, threatening, offering, nothing works for the situation.
Despite the annoyance of the situation, it is a hilarious moment in everyone’s day. The icing on the large yellow giraffe cake, is how his tongue sticks out slightly when his head is back, as though reaching for a leaf.
While there is no negotiations that will work on this trouble maker, there are bribes that work greatly. Mints will always earn a side-glance, apples will earn a few snuffles, and a cookie guarantees that nose will go wherever you want it to. So, the giraffe might be stubborn, and annoying, but there are always ways to get a leopard to change his spots giraffe to lower his head.
