Prompt:

Callum is the thirteenth of the many fairy shepherds of Valgard, and lives one of the most caring lives amongst the Valgarian Empire.
He cares and watches over the fairies whose powers help keep the ancient crystals calm, so that they won't turn dark and send the floating lands of Valgard crashing down upon the earth.

He cares very much for the lands and it's people, so he takes special care of the fairies so that they stay safe and content in their gardens.
As a shepherd he learned the language of the fairies and understands them better than half of the shepherds.

It was once said that the floating lands used to be flush with the earth, but the fairies gifted the Valgarian kalons with a new home seated above all the dangers the ground has upon its surface.
From then on the Valgard empire stood tall and protected the fairies with shepherds as the fairies protected them with their powers.

There is several craters filled with water below the floating lands and are just as peaceful as the lands above them.

If there is anything that Callum loves more than the fairies, Valgard, and it's people, is Yulwei.
Yulwei is seventh daughter of the right hand of the empire, so she is a form of royalty and lives in the palace amongst the royal family, but she may be whoever she wants to be and with whoever she wants to be with, unlike other royals who are arranged in marriage.

The fairies tease Callum in his love for Yulwei, often crowding him and asking him questions about her and whatever they've talked about together.
He has gotten less embarrassed by their teasing and curiosity, as long as another shepherd isn't around.

The peaceful empire of Valgard is one to truly marvel at in it's beautiful landscapes to the morals and principles it holds dear.
