Prompt: fallout's birthday is actually on halloween!! so he has such fond memories about halloween && everything to do with it. his favorite memory, though, has to be the year he turned six because his parents had a huge thing planned for his birthday. he remembered them hyping it all up for him && telling him all kinds of stories to keep his mind on the subject. when his birthday came around he was more than excited to hop out of his bed at an early hour to wake his parents up and ask them what was going on. they had him a vampire costume set out and he quickly put it on and then saw his parents dressed up too. he was super excited, his parents never dressed up! as he rushed around excitedly they told him that they were taking him to the park to a haunted house && he freaked out because he had never been to a haunted house before! they sounded so scary! but this haunted house was kid friendly so he really enjoyed it because all of the actors in it were really sweet && never got too close to him unless stated they could. he did get a bit scared so he clung onto his mother who just kept him close and comforted him && gave him all kinds of candy afterwards && said that he was really brave. afterwards, they took him to pick out his present that he had been talking about for the past couple of weeks; a very big && comfy halloween blanket. he still has that blanket with him to this day; he keeps it in his backpack that he takes with him everywhere. he just holds this memory really close because it was also the last time he had a birthday with his parents around before he got lost from them.
