"Love?? Why in the name o' Starclan r' ya asken' me about love??" The elder snapped at the small golden tabby kit. "Ain't nothin' good about love.." He grumbled.

"Well," Bumblekit spoke softly, "you're the oldest cat in Autumnclan and I just wanted to know about your love life with Poisonivy."

"OLD?? Why i oughta..." Greystone huffed, "Fine. you wanna know what my love life's like?" He looked down at the kit who had a happy smile on her face. He rolled his eyes and puffed his tail up. "Love's awful." The smile on the kit disappeared. "It's like bein' trapped. Held down by yer neck. Like a kittypet onna leash, bein' yanked around by the holder. They use ya however they like. It's'a waste o' time."

"But...But why do you hate love so much? I always thought it was a magical thing that made life better," Bumblekit spoke, confused.

"Magical?? No no no, lil thing. Yer' crazy if ya think that's the case. Poisonivy has given' me nothin' but pain n' sufferin'. I coulda been out livin' my life but nooooo. I was stuck home with that devil woman. Don't care if she was sick. I had plans to play some game called 'bingo' with a kittypet I had met. Love keeps ya from doin' the things ya want n' life. Stay away from it. Poisonivy was the worst thing to ever happen to me, and I been chased by a rabbit once."

"I'm right here, Greystone." Poisonivy glared at him from across the den, flicking her tail in annoyance.

"QUIET WOMAN! I AIN'T ASKIN' YOU NOTHIN! LET ME LIVE MY LIFE!"

Every cat knows that Boldheart has always been a "charmer." Sarcastic and witty, he can flirt his way into nearly any she-cat's heart that he likes. He knows it, and he definitely takes advantage of it- he can't stop himself from opening his mouth if a pretty she-cat so much as walks by. He is the least hopeless romantic there is, and romantic gestures are his favorite things, even though he definitely does them way too much with way too many cats. His charm and wit even earned him the suffix for his name. He looked up a lot to his father, who was a strong, handsome, and kind warrior. He taught Boldheart everything he knew, as he was also a bit of a ladykiller himself. Because Boldheart admired his father so much, he decided to take on his ways (and his mother simply shook her head... a lot). Even though he has no problem with being the Clan flirt as of right now, he secretly really wants a mate to shower exclusively with all the loving gestures and attention he can give. The question is, how is going to choose from the line of she-cats who would love to have the spot?

Riverripple finds romance boring. He believes it is a fruitless effort, and will go out of his way to avoid those who hold romance deep in their heart. Because of this, he finds himself isolated much of the time, however this is not something he abhors. He seems, however, to find that romance always stands in the way of what he wants in life, and often makes poor decisions because of it. It is the result of his two children, Sagekit and Barkkit. While he tolerates his children, he does not hold love in his heart even for them.

Prompt;; SootRye doesn't want to admit that he's a hopeless romantic. He goes into bits of time where he just sits and fantasizes about meeting the perfect she-cat. How her pelt would feel brushing up against his side by side. It made his fur prickle at the mere thought of having a mate.
He's had too many crushes that he can count, they were all brief, because he always noted the good about them before they showed their flaws. And in the end, SootRye wants a mate, but he has too high of standards for a romance to blossom between him or other cats.
He's accepted this sure, but it doesn't make him lose hope, any she-cat he sees his heart skips a beat, even if others can't see their beauty he can't help but wonder. What would it be like to get to know that she-cat, to become her friend and then maybe have that grow into a crush? To become mates and raise a family.
He couldn't be sure, but he will never stop wondering what kind of romance will come to him, he just hopes it will be one he doesn't regret.

“imelda.” the delicate molly was curled against the broad-shouldered warrior’s side. “mi amor.” at that nickname, so full of love and adoration, she stirs, waking up on her own time, before gazing up at him with her captivating, ocean-hued eyes.

“soul.” she whispers, pressing her warm nose to his shoulder. “we cannot go on like this.” sorrow simmers in her eyes and the warrior stiffens with shock.

“is it because we are from two different clans?” one of his ears twitch, a sign he’s upset with how the conversation has gone.

“yes.”

to this day, soul, a mighty and courageous leader renamed to soulstar, has never fallen in love again. two moons after they parted, imelda was with soul’s kits, but never once again approached her forbidden love, and they grew up without knowing their father.
soul has had a sorrowful look on love ever since - imelda was his love, and so he believes he can never love again.
