there seems to be a shimmering thing
behind you. she slips it around her neck,
it glistened in the sun that shot through
the thin glass panes. It was a necklace,
It seemed to match her eyes, and the large
gem hung heavily against her curled fur.
she then walked passed you, without a care.

prompt: they seem to be really staring at me. On the outside, a awkward person, full of flaws and mistakes. But they say dogs can see more than that. They can see our soul, and in the depth of it they find our true essences. I wonder if gwen sees the good in there

kennel: Aspen Creek Kennel (No link yet)
prompt:
Finn's eyes don't catch the light the same as others you've seen. It's strange that the dog seems to merely look past you, yet not at all strange. The floor creaks at the weight of your foot as you approach Finn and the old dog shifts from the sound with haste. You notice his eyes still have yet to leave you well at least whatever they see. Then it clicks in your mind that Finn's eyes do not stare past you or at you, yet instead they see nothing. They're an empty blue gaze that the wonders of sight abandoned long ago. Perhaps Finn stares right through you while his brain plays tricks on him and brings him memories where he can see.

name: Cora
gender: female
kennel: [n/a]
prompt:
Her blue eyes pierced through me, gazing into the corner of the room behind me. The blue curls delicately hugging her frame bounced as a shiver caused her to stiffen and stretch as it travelled down her spine, interrupting her stillness. Her claws scraped against the timber flooring, breaking the silence as a cold breeze blew from where her gaze was fixated, making me turn and stare intently, trying to see any sign of movement. Despite my relief when nothing was there, my heart trembled in anxiety.
I thought it was nothing more than an old tale that dogs could see spirits, yet the chill felt like fingertips against my skin. My chest tightened as the air fell still, the cold setting into my bones. Looking back down at Cora, I notice her soulless eyes had life flooded back into them, the light glinting across the surface.
Whatever had just happened, I didn’t want to feel it again - at least not for a long time.

Congratulations bluex! The imagery that you used really added to your story - let's hope Cora is done for now...
