What do they do to prepare for halloween?:
Lincoln chooses to prepare for Halloween by sewing the most fantastic costumes he can. He is known throughout his town for having some of the most elaborate costumes the other townspeople have ever seen, and often can be found making costumes for the kids in the town as well if he has the chance. The Halloween festival is also a project Lincoln personally heads up, planning games and decorations while gathering all of the volunteers necessary.

What do they do to prepare for halloween?:
In his hometown, Halloween is always a big deal. There's a festival that runs all day, small businesses set out booths to sell wears and take part in the trick or treating, and some of them even turn their shops into haunted houses for the older kids and kids at heart. Zande runs a small bakery in town, so he spends the entire first part of the month planning his specialty treats and preparing for the grueling hours ahead making sure there are plenty of sweets for the town. He divides his time between his bakery, helping the town decorate, and assisting in the setup of the haunted houses, and that's only in the first week of October.

At home, he's decorating his own home and making plans for Thanksgiving, knowing that he'll have a lot of family coming to visit him, as well as finalizing his plans for the Haunted Gingerbread House competition they have at the festival every year. The entire week before the festival he works 12 hour days getting his entry finished, and prebaking what he can to store away for the festival. After that he's home free, and ready to enjoy the spooky festiivities!

Eddie loves making the kids in town happy on Halloween. He puts together
spooky, but not scary decor, puts out allergy free candy, and purchases
costumes for the less fortunate kids in his town. Every year he throws the
biggest bash in town where everyone is invited and asked to bring a donation
to Eddie’s chosen charity of the year. This cute bat is well-respected in his
town, but his efforts aren’t for him.

For Halloween, Batty prepares a mountain of fruit-flavored candy and sugar-based snacks! Batty absolutely just LOVES sweet, sugary, fruity foods, and Halloween is the perfect excuse to raise her sugar allowance for that week (she goes through her snacks very quickly, you see, so the mountain is really only meant for a week of crazily delightful binge-eating). But worry not! Batty has a quick metabolism, and her constant bat buddies (hiding on her) will help with the reward of consuming so many sweets!

What do they do to prepare for halloween?:

Strobe lights flickering on and off at semi slow pace. Orange and white lights illuminating the room to the left, where an incredibly strong smell of caramel was coming from.
A piano was heard, with an occasional laugh and lightning track playing over it. Probably some basic Halloween Cassette he popped into a radio for show.

On the walls, cobwebs were hung in a random yet structured way all throughout the dining room.
Fake blood stained the floor where a few baskets of candy and pumpkins lay about. You walk into the room, dressed head to toe in some homemade costume.
Entering the kitchen you see a Kalon, pointy fangs and a black coat, Standing behind a black draped table with a various assortment of caramel and candied apples.

"Velcome, Trick or treater !"
Could be heard in the most nailed down vampire voice you have ever heard.

"Please,Pick your poison"
The kalon opened her cape, gesturing at the table of treats as you cautiously go up and choose one with tiny eyeball candies all over it.

"Excellent choice ! Now begone ! For I must descend back into the night and prepare more candied apples !"

When she was young, during Halloween, rather than simply handing out free candy, Arin’s family would organize a game for the trick ’r treaters. Every kalon who came to the door was given two options; leave with a few small candies, or they could play the game and earn a candy jackpot. Or, if they lost, walk away with no candy at all. Every year, a new simple two-player game was selected for playing. Arin loved watching the many kalons who came to their house, laboring over the decision whether or not to take the risk, shrieking in dismay if they lost (one time someone actually flipped the table) and screaming and jumping in they won (although not all reactions were that crazy).

Now as an adult, Arin has continued her family’s tradition. Every year she looks forward to preparing the game for Halloween and the hilarity and craziness that will come.
