lion name;Phyrro "Domino"
lion gender;Male
pride; Oddity Pridepride status;Undecided Member
Partners form;Viennapersonality; If one was to asked to describe him, the most common words used tend to be "chatty," "friendly," and "animated." These are not wrong, though they are not the only traits he possesses. Domino seems to have an air of exuberant confidence, always sure of himself and always willing to lend a paw to those in need, and is equally willing to accept it from others when it is offered to him. He gets along well with others, even strangers, and seems to make friends almost everywhere that he goes. He tends to operate on the idea that everyone has good in them, so he treats everyone with this in mind, unless they prove him unworthy of such judgement. He's passionate, not unlike the fiery abilities he possesses, which may burn brighter and brighter without something to bring them down. Ultimately, he is one that tries to see the world and life in a positive light and seems to believe that, no matter what, good will eventually come even if it seems so bad that you lose hope. And, he tries to share these views of his with others.
Toward his friends and pride mates, he is incredibly loyal, and will go to many lengths to both help and protect them, even if it means traveling miles upon miles or risking his life in order to do so. He wants everyone, especially them, to be happy.
Underneath the part of himself that he chooses to present to the world, though, and only his closest friend is aware of of it, Domino is actually rather insecure. This is especially true in regards to his abilities to create and manipulate fire, and worries about losing total control of his powers. His greatest fear is hurting someone, especially someone that he cares about. Though, he puts in much effort to not to let this part of himself take over.
Relationship; For Domino, in spite of being members of different prides and having drastically different personalities, Vienna is his most treasured friend; and he's quite happy to make such a statement to anyone and everyone that asks. Unbeknownst to them, their souls were bonded from the moment they existed, the lion and lioness having been born into the world at the very same moment, though some distance apart. They were largely unaware of their bond until, one day in his youth, Domino accidentally lost control of his powers, unable to vanquish the flames in which he had created. Terrified of what could have happened, as the flames became a wildfire set on their destructive path, he was rescued from the situation by young Vienna and her powers over ice, she having arrived simply because she sensed something terribly wrong. From that day forward, young Domino always greatly admired Vienna and her seemingly excellent control and confidence with her strange powers, and even aspired to be as confident as she seemed to be that day.
With the unique nature of their soul bond, each party can tell when something is
wrong with the other, be that something such as Domino losing control over his powers, or when Vienna finds herself thinking so negatively that she just falls deeper and deeper into despair. And, when one needs help, the other is always certain to appear, no matter the lengths they must go through in order to do so. The lion, of course, is always more than happy to lend a paw to his friend.
Though they are very good friends, they are drastically different. So different, in fact, that it leaves most wondering how they really get along at all. Domino's talkative and animated disposition is far different from the seemingly cold and quiet Vienna. Her inherent nature does not bother Domino in the least, though, he knowing fully well that, while she does not so openly display her true feelings, that she appreciates him and their friendship. Those small smiles of hers when he talks, even if she often finds him annoying or irritating and they occasionally find themselves at odds with one another, says it all, and she finds his presence reassuring, regardless. The two balance one another out, and don't try to really change one another. Instead, they appreciate one another for being themselves.
Ultimately, the pair are fighting a battle that they would lose without the other. Vienna, with her powers over ice, is doomed to be self destructive, while Domino, with his powers over fire, is doomed to be destructive to everything around him. Without the other to intervene, they would be consumed by the destructive sides of their powers. So they each appear when the other is heading down that path, when they are falling. Vienna with an unamused look, and Domino with an animated smile.
