full name: lucia angel price
nicknames: luci
gender: AFAB female
occupation: high priestess
sexuality: questioning
age: 37
at a young age, lucia was orphaned, so she didn't know her true parents. the coven took her
in as their own, and raised her. the high priestess, zigala, believed lucia was a prodigy. when
she first laid eyes on lucia, she knew that she was sent from the gods. lucia was raised with
love and compassion. she was taught to love everyone, but to also stand up for herself. she
grew very attached to zigala, seeing her as her own mother. practicing witchcraft and magic
all together was prohibited, so the coven had to live their life sheltered from everyone else.
zigala began to grow old, and lucia was worried. she had been chosen as the next high
priestess, but she felt inexperienced. zigala soon passed away, leaving the fate of the coven
in lucia's hands. she was immediately overwhelmed, unsure of what she should do first. but
then it dawned on her. lucia was going to fight for the rights of her people. she couldn't sit
and watch her sisters and brothers sit in hiding, or get slaughtered. lucia knew she would
have a hard time trying to convince her coven to stand up against their oppressors.
lucia gathered her coven around. this was her family, her life, her religion, her everything. she
couldn't let them suffer in silence anymore. they were equal to humans. they were not lesser
for wielding magic.
to lucia's surpirse, the coven agreed to her plan for revolution. she told them that they would
not take a violent route. their pacifist revolution began by simple flyers and propaganda as
one would call it. they worked to inform the people that they were not monsters, and that
what they did was purely only for good. lucia watched proudly as the public opinion of her coven
began to turn around slowly. the support of the people was good, but it wasn't enough to sway
the law. she had to convince the king and his council of bigots that they weren't evil. she knew
that she couldn't do it with a group, because that would be seen as a threat, so she ventured in
to the castle alone.
she was captured by the guards, which was predictable. she was brought to the king for questioning.
this was her chance!
she was wrong. he wouldn't let her explain, and immediately, she was thrown into the dungeon.
