Intake Report: Scarring On Wrists, Back Legs, Neck, And Muzzle
"We were thankful to find this jack didn't have any major injuries to cater to, as it seems it would of been impossible to do so. They was as wild as they come from day one, and no one at the sanctuary has yet to find a way to calm them. Not only do they snap at the humans, but they have an awful habit of charging the skepluvias in the stalls and runs next to them and is highly possessive of their food around them as well. It's rather unusual to have a skepluvi act with malice or aggression toward other creatures, especially other skepluvias, so it has been a confusing struggle to keep everyone on their toes around this crazy jack. We would like to have the chance to check on their scarring, which we presume is only simple restraint scarring since it seems unlikely the racers that abused this skepluvi would of ever been able to actually get them on the track, but with the current situation no one has been able to get a close look. We have high hopes that once moved into a new home with lots of patient one on one work, their new caretaker will be able to properly and gently tame them down. We have noticed that they have a bit of a soft side for younger skepluvi and queens, so perhaps that may help in the socialization process of this jack as well. If they are unable to be tamed down, we are unsure how they will fair. So it's all up to you now - can you help this skepluvi find peace again?"

Taming Prompt:The number 1 priority in the front of our minds was always safety so even when anyone was only observing this guy they were encouraged to remain unnoticed and hidden if possible. The first course of action had to be to check if there was any underlying pain that was causing his aggression, so we watched for behavioural signs of any internal pain and that came up clear so we didn't have any worries there. Which pointed to his issues being purely behavioural. This jack seemed to have a hatred for any living thing he could see. The first week or so we just allowed him to adjust to his new home, due to his love for food we started condition him with the help of food. At first that was standing a solid 20 m away and with each feed we would try and stand a little closer slowly teaching him that people bring food, food is good therefore people are good. Little by little he began to not hate people at the least, he was civil and before long anyone could stand by his pen, free of the fear of being charged. At first we thought his gender mightve been a girl but due to his hogh energy nature but as he got used to us his true nature shone through. This wasn't the end of his journey but at least it was a step forwards. It could take years for him to become a totally normally socialised skepluvia but at least we were on our way there..
(TBC but I wanna write in a part with a young skepluvia because Im really attached to thus guy and wanna see a full recovery but I don't have any little ones so would this be enough for a taming prompt?)
