trees and flowers
This sweet dude really loves flowers and trees. He just adores
the fact that tree help you stay alive, and they are so pretty!
but,,, if we're talking about beauty, he has got to give
the winning stop to flowers. they are just so heckin' pretty,
and come in so many colours! both of these plants are totally his
favourite things about nature, they they will stay in that
top tier!
though he does like turtles,
maybe they will go in the top spot instead?

Selphir's favorite things about nature are the sense of peace they give you. If you're on the beach just closing your eyes and listening to the various background noise allowing your sense of hearing to strengthen you hear beyond just the sound of crashing waves but the song of dolphins & the call of the seagulls all harmonizing in synchronicity or as you lay on the towel allowing the sun to warm you up and relax into a soothing state where you gently fall asleep underneath the shade of umbrella listening to the song, as the sun disappears underneath the waves the cold wind blows as you pack up, if you sleep in the forest and set up a warm fire and sit down and open your eyes to the sky above you can see the all the beautiful natural lights millions of them. Stars that are thousands of light-years away in distant galaxies, and yet their light still visible to your eyes, or perhaps hearing and sight isn't a sense you're quite into perhaps you're the touchy type, well nature is the perfect playground for you for theres dirt where life can grow seemingly out of nothing as long as it gets water and light or the rough texture of a California redwood the rough texture of it's bark as you run your fingertips against it or the freshwater river where little tadpoles race all around and little fish swim. The slimy feel of a frog's skin or the bumpy back of toad is more suited to your taste. If it's not summer or spring but winter theres a lot of fun to do with nature's curse and the gift of the pure white snow the snowflakes landing on your nose or the cold but soft touch of the snow against your warm ungloved hand. the feeling of the cold winter winds blowing against your face making your cheeks burn. But of course theres also the season of fall where theres also lots of fun activities perhaps the smell of pumpkin guts or pumpkin spice filling your nostrils as you clean up the fallen leaves in your yard into a giant pile before jumping into the leaves and watching fly all over again. Of course, you're going to have to pile them up again, it's one of the many fun things about nature.

prompt ;; Pumpkin loves how nature always just seems so very alive and thriving. Knowing that the tall oaks that grow around him used to be small seedlings seems really amazing to him. Then there's all the other plants that live in nature, such as flowers. Flowers would be that the top of the list of the world's most beautiful if you asked Pumpkin. His favorite are the dandelions because they are so common that he gets to see the dandelions bright yellow color like the sun, and he gets to see the dandelions share their seeds with the world. If he could, Pumpkin would spend his whole life outside in nature, just thinking and breathing it in.

Through the darkness, a small pinprick of light flickered. A few feet away another one appeared. With every second, a light popped into existence and dimmed a moment later, to be replaced by another. Within minutes, the forest was alive with tiny glowing lights, resembling stars.

Dorian smiled as he watched the fireflies flicker and glimmer through the trees. He loved fireflies, the way they created light even in the darkest time of night, he loved the way they glittered like miniature suns. Whenever fireflies were around, Dorian would stay up hours into the night just to watch them shine.

A bubble of sadness expanded in Dorian’s chest. Fireflies were also very special to Dorian because they reminded him of his sister.

“Look Lily! Stars!” The tiny bunny kit yelled. The rabbit nearby laughed.

“No Dorian, those are called fireflies.” The little rabbit tilted his head.

“Firefies?” He asked. “What are firefies?”

“Fireflies.” Lily responded. “They’re bugs that light up at night.”

“Firefies are pretty.” Said Dorian. He bounded towards one of the lights and tried to catch one. Lily giggled again.

“Oh Dorian you goof.” She hopped to her little brother. “Come on Dorian, it’s late. Let’s go back to the burrow.” Dorian looked at her.

“But what about the firefies? I want to stay out here with them.”

“Don’t worry Dorian. They’ll be back out tomorrow night. You can see them tomorrow.” He considered this.

“Promise?” He asked, eyes wide.

“I promise.” Lily said.

Dorian’s eyes filled with tears. His sister had died last year from sickness. He looked up at the lights.

“Lily I miss you.” He whispered. Fireflies were indeed beautiful, but the main reason he always came out to see them was to remember his sister. Every year when the fireflies came out they would watch them together. Dorian had kept the tradition alive for her.

Because of Lily, fireflies would always be Dorian’s favorite thing about nature.
