"So tell me, sis, what is it you really want?"
Azalea's eye's bore into the soul of her sister. Her head hung high, her feet stood strong, and her body radiated confidence.
With strength, Azalea gave her answer, "You of all people should know what I want, Dahlia."
Dahlia's ears perked up with interest. Yes, deep down, Dahlia knew her sister wanted.
Freedom.
She wanted freedom.
Azalea's ocean eyes kept locked on her sister as she sat in silence, waiting to hear how her comment was taken.
With a deep sigh, Dahlia spoke in a serious tone, "You are free to leave. You always have been, sis. Go. Take flight. You of all Kalons should know that I want you to spread your wings."
On that note, Azalea's body started to violently shake. Anxiety pumped through her, but also excitement. Azalea started to bolt out of the cave. The two siblings took one last look at each other. With a smile, Azalea jumped from the mouth of the cave to the platform under. A faint "I love you" sounded from the cave as Azalea gently worked her way from cliff to cliff.

Days Since Leaving the Cave: 3
The journey to the grassland near Marsuses Cave did not take long. Azalea's journey took two days, but usually, when she traveled with her family, the trip took less than 24 hours. The curious Azalea had made a few stops along the way, for she had no one to stop her. This new-found freedom of hers was a gift. A blessing, as Dahlia would have put it, but Dahlia was not here. The thought of her missing sister hit hard. The three days of Dahlia's absence were starting to take a toll on the poor blue Kalon. A cloud of grief followed Azalea as she looked for a spot to rest.
A fresh, dewy spot of grass was where Azalea had decided to spend the night. A singular tree was merely a few feet away, offering protection if needed. As dusk overcame the land, the lonely blue kalon closed her eyes and drifted off.
Azalea's eyes opened. The land she saw was barren. Different hues of grey blanketed the once youthful green grass and the tree she was next to had shrunk to a measly sapling.
In the distance was a Kalon. This Kalon had no color and it's face was void of expression.
Dahlia. The Kalon was Dahlia. The flowers on her back clearly marked the creature as her sister.
And then the Kalon began to float away. At first, the rising was slow, but soon Dahlia's grey body became a blur in the sky.
"DAHLIA! PLEASE COME BACK! STO-"
When Azalea awoke from her bad dream, the sky was still black. That was the second nightmare Azalea had in the past three days. Everything was dark and Azalea was lonely. A high-pitched "hick" sounded from the poor Kalon and her ocean eyes filled with salty tears. She cried herself back to sleep.

*skuffle skuffle*
A Kalon buried it's nose into Azalea, attempting to wake her.
At first, Azalea tried to swat the other Kalon away, not wanting her swollen eyes to be seen.
"Hey sis, it's me" spoke the Kalon towering above Azalea.
At the sound of her sister's voice, Azalea quickly lifted her head. The joy in seeing her sister lead Azalea to jump onto Dahlia and pull her into a tight embrace. Tears once again streamed down Azalea's face, but this time, they were tears of joy. She no longer worried about her swollen eyes being seen, for this Kalon was no stranger.
"Wh-What are you doing here?!" Azalea stammered out.
Dahlia replied with a smile, "I'm here to be free, with my sister. "
