As a kid I was always obsessed with the Lion King!
I adored any movie with animals, I would actually refuse to watch a movie with only people. The Lion King was always one of my favorites, and whenever it ended I would go to the top of my staircase and "roar" like Simba. Even as a kid, I always loved the villains. The way Scar radiated confidence throughout this song memorized me, and honestly now that I think about it that must have been concerning for my mom... It's such a fun song and it reminds me of my childhood!

Tangled has always been one of my favorite movies.. (especially since I had a huge crush on Flynn, haha). This song was one of the only animated movie songs that gave me actual chills, and is in my opinion, the best love song in any Disney movie. I think it has a beautiful meaning behind it: two people from completely different worlds trying to find something to make their lives complete.. something to make them truly happy, and in the end, that something being each other. The line: "all at once, everything looks different, now that I see you" hit me pretty hard. It shows that even though they had different paths in life.. they found themselves in each other and realized that all they needed to be happy, was to be together.

This Kalon reminds me a lot of that song... it fills me with a certain happiness, much like the song did, just seeing his bright colors and smiling face. I feel that he's here to remind me that everything's going to be ok, even if it doesn't seem like it at the time. It gives me hope for the future, a lot like "I see the light" seemed to when I was younger.

prompt; Rainbows are a common source of creativity. Many a song has been written about them. While my song isn't one of those in particular, many creative factors are put together in this scene. Consider the context. Mary Poppins and Bert have taken Jane and Michael Banks into a chalk drawing that Bert made. Inside, there's a carousel, whose horses come to life and join a horse race. Mary Poppins has just won the race, and tells the reporters about our favorite 34-letter word that describes how she feels.

Back to the Kalon, rainbows are a huge part of their design, and creativity is a major theme. The generous use of rainbows and, more specifically, the pencil on the tail reminds me of the chalk drawing this is taking place in. The big smile on their face reminds me of how happy the song Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious is. And with the creative theme, The word Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious is certainly a creative word, like one a child may come up with.

Overall, I feel this Kalon perfectly embodies the themes of child-like happiness and creativity that the song, and the movie, try to create.

prompt; The movie Rio really showed off some beautiful animation and its mainly focused in Rio de Janeiro. The movie focuses on both the city of Rio and the beautiful rain forests. In my eyes, the rain forest is one of the most beautiful places on Earth and full of so much color in both nature and wildlife. Just narrowing it down to species of butterflies, even they make up some of the beautiful color emitted into the deep rain forest. Of course the focal point of the movie it the birds, specifically the Macaw species and other tropical birds. These birds make up so much of the diversity of color in both the movie and the rain forest. Every time I would watch the movie as a child, the colors that popped really made the movie all the more enjoyable to me. From this movie came my own concept that the city of Rio and the rain forests are a rainbow full of diverse wildlife. These animals such as various macaws and tropical birds make up a big part of what makes up the beauty and color of Rio de Janeiro and the rain forests.

prompt; All Dogs Go To Heaven is one of my favorite animated movies, as I instantly fell in love with the characters, animation style, odd but catchy songs and message of the story (I wont spoil). Although the second movie isnt as great as the first, this song (as well as the others) is so good and easily applied for any relationship weather it be siblings, parents, friends or romantic. For me personally, I relate to this because when I was young (around the first time I saw this movie), my mom moved away after divorcing my dad. No matter how far apart we were, she was always with me, always on her mind.

Now that I'm older I see her more often ♥️
