What are they looking for and how did they get to the valley?: Solar took first step into the valley planning to pass through at first, Not really sure on where he was planning to head, untill someone spoke of a valley where the sun touches the earth everyday, and he felt like that would be the perfect paradise, Curiousity taking over him he began marching trhough climbing hills, bumps, rocks, trees, so on and so fourth. He passed through what he thought of was the woods, unaware that he had stumbled into a pride, or just someone elses territory, it seemed pretty... Dark.. the light occassionally gleaming through some openings of the trees, and by the color he already could tell comparing his paws to the dirt that he stood out more than he would've liked at the moment.
Unsure how far he had left but he could sense someone following moments later he came face to face with a softly brown lion, who had a big fluffy mane, and 2 diffirent eye colors. Judging by, he assumed it was the territory owner. "You're not from here.." the lion stated.
Solar nodded as he stood tall "I am passing through." He responded, As the Lion asked where he was heading.
Seeing how Solar was heading to the sunstreak valley or better known for it's name as Sunbeam Valley, the male recognized this tale the elderly Lions once told, and looked over nodding the tiger into the right direction.
Thanking the lion Solar headed on promising to visit again. He marched his tail swishing side to side, stopping for water or food on occassion. For each day the thought of the valley intigued him more and more, so after months of travel he finally reached it, the Sunbeam Valley, he took a look around and enjoyed the warmth laying in the grass. He felt at home again, so he decided to give himself a last name, completeting his name to; SolarBeam. As he took it upon himself to become a guardian of this place.

Possible res with trying to find some sort of ancient 'flaming stone'. He was given some sort of riddle based quest and what the flaming stone actually is could be just about anything. He probably believes the stone is hidden underneath the rocklands. Once in the pride he works his way up their power hierarchy after becoming friends with Ozmore.

𝐿𝑜𝑜𝓀𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝒻𝑜𝓇 𝒶 𝒫𝓁𝒶𝒸𝑒 𝓉𝑜 𝐵𝑒𝓁𝑜𝓃𝑔

Lian has always been different from the other lions that roam the lands. In which this had made it difficult to find a home in which she could finally stop her long journey and settle down and enjoy the finer things in life. She and her firefly companions have seen scorching deserts, over grown jungles and vast rivers that seem to stretch for miles. Nothing felt like home or called to her. One night she had came across a fierce wildfire that refused to listen to her calming words. It had jumped from branch to branch and threaten to burn all that it could touch. The fire continued to have its way with the brush around her. She looked around franticly and in attempt to find a water score to lead it too in a hope to end its terror on the animals that once called this jungle their home. In her almost frantic search her found a lone lion and his pride lost with in the smoke and flames. She had made eye contact with him and in that moment one of her firefly companions names An Ni whispered in her ear that there was a beach near by and the ocean would be a great place to lead the violent flames. She perked at this and told An Ni to lead the lost Lion and his pride to the Ocean where they could be safe, not once letting her eyes leave his. The smoke soon grew dense and An Ni had rushed to the lion to aid in their escape from the jungle. After taunting the fire over and over, Lian had manages to get it to chase her through the jungle where she could lead it to the beach. The flames crackled and licked at the back of her legs and she bounded over fallen trees and rocks. She had managed to pick up a large branch and tempted the flames to attach itself to the branch in an attempt to attack her. As the flames inched closer to her face she ran until her paws reached the sand and continued to run till she made it to the shore and with all her strength she through the branch into the ocean and watched at the light quickly disappeared and went up in smoke. A little bit off the fur under her left eye was slightly scorched do to the flames attempt to do her harm. She sat down and attempted to catch her breath when An Ni came back to tell her that they where able to lead the lion's to the shore and to safty. She smiled weakly looked down the beach where she saw the Leader looking her way and roared before letting out some chirps in attempt have her come over. She stood up and tilted her head, the male then started running over to her and made a sudden halt in the sand the caused it to fling into the air. "Thank you..." He siad with gratitude. "I thought I was seeing things in the smoke and yet you where able to lead me and my pride to safety... we have been one a journey in hopes of finding a place where we can call home and yet you manage to not only save us but find us paradise. With this we are in a great debt to you." She shook her and let out a small laugh. "You don't own me anything. It was the right thing to do...I am sure you are anyone in your pride would have helped me if I was in need." She insisted and then got up and started to head back to the jungle. "Where are you going?" The male said and walked closer to her "Home?" he asked concerned that their savor would just disappear. She looked at him with sadden eyes and shook her head "I don't know..." her words trailed off. "Well why not stay with us for a while then... I mean if your going no where then you have time to stay here for a while" he pointed out and smiled boyishly. "I'm Kaiholo and I would love if you would stay with us as long as you like" he said warmly. Lian's looks soften and gave a smile "Lian..." They both walked over to the rest of the pride and on that day a pride and a lost sun guardian found what they where looking for...home.

The creatures of this world tell of an ancient legend of two great dragons, the great dragon of the sun and the little dragon of the moon. Together, they looked upon our world long before life existed and decided that they would claim it as their own. Both moon and sun breathed their flames upon the surface, melting the core and making way for life to emerge. The first to rise was the keeper of the land. Strong, powerful, and fierce, the claws of the great feline dug into the newly formed ground as it emerged. Eyes shimmering with the glow of the moon yet a pelt that burned with the flames of the sun, the dragons looked upon the cat. "Child," the dragon of the sun bellowed, voice calm yet prideful, "From our flames, you have been born just as this rock you stand upon. We wish to bring life to this land however it will need a keeper, one who shall respect our balance of light and dark." The younger brother, the dragon of the moon hissed, "You shall maintain this land dealing justice upon those who wrong it and standing in our stead among the coming trials. Just as we keep the stars, you shall rule the surface and all who reside here. Do you understand your purpose?" With a voice as soft as a gentle breeze yet as ferocious as a wildfire, she responded, "I do," and thus the first tiger was born.

As time continued, the earth would grow and the tiger watched as new life emerged, bringing forth different species of plants, animals, and creatures. It wasn't until one creature, the one who is known as rooster, would force the tiger to take action. The birds had learned of the great dragon's absence from the land, knowing that it was left for tiger to care for. "Tiger cannot fly," sang the rooster, "and if tiger cannot stop us we shall take the moon so we can sing through the day as we please." The birds agreed, waiting for sunset. The rooster, frightened of the consequences, looked to his siblings. "If you shall take the moon, I will remain and sing my song as the first light of the sun." And so rooster remained near the surface, flying just below the clouds as he watched for the tigers firey pelt of the burning light of day.

Owl, however, did not like this plan. Treasuring the light of the moon, Owl silently sought tiger and told the great beast what was occurring. When rooster saw tiger, he sang his loudest song. Tiger warned the birds to stay away from the moon, knowing that was out of her domain, yet they did not listen. When the little dragon of the moon saw the birds approach, he called out to them. "birds of day, why have you come seeking my moon?" The birds, struck with fear, did not respond. Tiger, feeling pity for the birds, called out. "Oh, great dragon. I was not able to stop them before they disturbed you. They did not know. Please, I will take responsibility for this mistake." The dragon of the moon spoke, anger lining his voice. "Very well, since my moon was nearly stolen, you shall have another task. Tiger, you shall walk the earth among the other species. You will remain under the light of my moon, chasing after brothers sun until your body collapses. Only then will you rest. If you do as I say, then you and the birds will be spared. You will not be alone however, for rooster will travel with you. When you near the sun he will sing for you and you will know you have been forgiven."

Tiger left to pursue the sun, running throughout the night in hopes of finally reaching the end where she could rest. As time continued, tiger became exhausted until she reached a valley where she heard roosters song. Collapsing, she knew she had completed her task. The local creatures observed her curiously, yet fearfully until an elderly lion stepped forward. When tiger awoke, the lion had cared for her, welcoming her into her home where tiger would remain. Many know her as the tiger from the legend, but only those who have met the great beast truly know who Vepkhia is. She had chased the sun and in her loyalty, the great dragons had led her to a place of her own.

What are they looking for and how did they get to the valley?:
Namur was in the daily patrol when a strange smell that he never felt before tickled his nose. "Hmm... he thought, it smells like danger. And he was right... but only a half. As he followed the new scent, he suddenly recognized in it some waves of confusion and disappointment. He approached of the source until he could clearly see what he had to deal with:
Wait... was that a tiger?! A real tiger? Namur was said to look like one, even if he haven't seen a tiger before, but he heard a lot of them from stories. He thought they were a myth, so he became curious about the strange visitor.
The big cat was sitting seemed harmless and very sad. He was sitting on the edge of a lake, looking at the water, alone. "What's the matter buddy? Asked Namur. You don't look so good" The tiger fixed him with his beautiful eyes, overwhelmed in a thick fog of sadness, heaving a sigh.
"My name is Kamal, I'm coming from India. I am all alone here, on unknown lands completely lost. I'm looking for my family, they were kidnapped. I'm afraid I'll find them too late" the mighty cat started shading tears uncontrollably.
Namur tried to cheer him up:
"Maybe if you can tell me a bit more, we could try to help ya"
Kamal wiped his tears with his huge paw, clearing his throat:
"As I said before, I'm coming from far away from here. Me and my family are descendants of the royal tigers, so my father was emperor. We have a traditional ritual in which every new emperor is given to drink the nectar of the Dragon Lotus, a very rare flower. The access to this flower is allowed only to the ones having pure royal blood. What's so special with this flower you may ask? It gives powers to the one consuming it. After the ceremony, my dad might have been followed closely by someone trying to steal the flower and the command. We suspect his exiled brother, but we don't have enough proof to accuse him, so I went to save my family by myself. All of these are from my fault"
Because Kamal started crying again, Namur approached, the tiger's fur with his nose.
"Dont blame yourself for this, he encouraged the tiger, it's not your fault."
"Isn't it? Said Kamal distrustful. But for my birth, my family would have been safe now." He raised his head majestically, and the lotus tattoo on his back started glowing. I am the Dragon Flower, said he solemnly. I had my form changed by a powerful shaman, so my power won't fall into wrong hands. They captured me once and tried to extract my magic, but I managed to escape." He showed Namur a massive golden chain around his neck.
"I've been chained and thrown into a dungeon. I lied there in darkness until they came, asking me to drink something. I refused and split it on the floor. The guardian left to bring another bowl of that substance. Another prisoner from there helped me to escape, smashing the heavy chains around me. I gave him my word to set him free as soon as this story ends. But this didn't happen yet. After the enemies discovered I escaped, they captured my mom and my dad to set me a trap. Now I'm all alone, possibly in danger and I'm very worried about my family. Who knows what that horrible monsters are up to?"
Namur took a minute to finish up his thought, then fixed with his purple eyes the tiger in front of him. Then, with strong determination, he said: "I will help you, the luck makes that our fur looks similar. I can be the diversion you need to set free your family".
So Kamal helped Namur a bit with his dress- up, drawing him a lotus on his back with golden dust and handing him over the heavy chains. After a quick look, he decided he looked perfect, so they started the plan, together.
"I won't forget what you're doing for me, noble heart, said Kamal. May the ancestors bless our mission." [700 words]

Lion name:
    Kiapo (Swahili for "oath")
Lion gender:
    Female
Pride:
Pride Status:
    Assassin
Theme Song:
Darkside by Alan Walker. Kiapo was raised to believe she should follow the sun as her father was doing, but always questioned why. Her father told her that was the only path to take, no matter what temptation was offered to her, as it was the path of light. However, upon meeting Nasaba (and Jiwe), Kiapo decided to reject her father’s ideals and take on her own. As it was a pride of lions, Kiapo’s papa would be even more furious, but she was done clinging to what he would want her to do. She made her own choice to go to what he would deem the dark side.
Image
What are they looking for and how did they get to the valley?:
”We are following the sun.” That is what Kiapo’s father had always told her when she asked where they were going, weaving between his paws as they walked.

”But why, papa?” She would ask, and he would chuckle and shake his head. ”Tell me the story again. Please?”

Then her father would tell the story of the first tiger, how the sun had drooped from the sky. It was the first tiger who carried it on his back till he was high enough to lift it back into the sky. He had pushed through the pain of the burns to carry it there, but the heat ultimately overtook him as the sun rose back up, and so he died. In honor of what he did, the sun promised to guide the rest of his descendants to eternal happiness. That was why Kiapo and her father were traveling now, determined to make good on the promise handed down through the generations. Once they arrived, they would be able to reunite with the rest of the tigers in undisturbed paradise.

Kiapo had always been skeptical, following along for her father’s sake and holding on to the faint sliver of belief that maybe, just maybe, he was right. But then he grew sick and weary, and their progress forward slowed, till one day Kiapo was forced to bury him. She sat vigil by his grave that night, wearing his chain and bells, and then continued onwards in the morning. But it wasn’t due to her own belief; Kiapo continued onwards simply because her father had believed, and what other choice did she have but to try and fulfill his lifelong dream, carried down from generation to generation?

As she journeyed onwards, from time to time she’d hear her father’s voice or feel his presence with her. It was as if he too could not find a resting place, forced to wonder as a wraith like she herself. Kiapo grew bitter at the sun scorching down on her, cursing the empty promise her father believed it had given them. There was no place of eternal happiness for tigers.

One day, as Kiapo was crossing a river, she ended up stranded in a tree that grew up in the water, unable to get to either riverbank. Three alligators snapped at her from below, eyeing her up to be their next meal. She kept to the branches, out of their reach, and tried to formulate a plan. But she was tired from wandering, and so she laid on the branch and stared down at the gators, wondering just what she should do.

Enter Nasaba and Jiwe. While hunting, the two spotted the tigress in peril, and pity was stirred up inside their hearts. The two worked together to drive the alligators away, allowing Kiapo to get down and cross safely. As she rested on the riverbank, Nasaba asked her, ”What are you doing here?” Kiapo gave no reply, shaking her head. Sensing he’d get no answer, the black and white lion asked, ”Are you here all alone? Do you need help?”

And in that moment, Kiapo’s mind was made up. Her papa had taught her all her life that her words were her oath. In her brain, she swore she heard him growl at her to stop as she stood on shaky legs, stared Nasaba in the eyes, and said, ”My name is Kiapo. You saved my life, so now I give it freely to you. I pledge on oath to protect you so long as I have breath in my body. Please, allow me to accompany you.”

As the words hung in the air, it was the first time Kiapo didn’t feel the sun beating down on her back or her father’s spirit accompanying her. It was also the first time she felt truly free.

The past few years have not been kind to Solis. He was born an orphan and had suffered greatly for his differences from tigers his age. Solis for reasons he cannot explain, was born with the ability to create small spheres of light. What tiger had magic? And if he did have magic, why was it so simple? Why not something grand and more useful? Seeking answers, he sought out the Monks, a group of wise old tigers that lived in a distant temple.

The Monks welcomed him in warmly, somehow expecting his visit. They explained to him that although rare, magic was not unheard of. Though, even they did not know where it originated from or why certain tigers were born with it. The monks told the young tiger that he had been given a great gift, the ability to cast light in times of great darkness to help guide those he loved.

Solis was skeptical, how could something be so simple be so powerful? However, he worked hard to master his power and soon found a home with the Monks. Things began to look up for him, and he began to realize how he could help others with his light. However, a year or so after he joined the Monks, tragedy struck. In a wild storm, a bolt of lightning struck the temple and set it ablaze. The old building quickly succumbed to the fire and collapsed, trapping those within. Solis woke up the next day, unharmed except for a few bruises. His power was more extensive than he or the monks had ever dreamed. Solis was fireproof. However, surrounded by the loss of his home and the grief, it felt more like a curse than a gift.

Solis was heartbroken. The only home he knew, gone. He wandered aimlessly for a few years, never getting close to others and always moving on before he could grow too attached to one place. It was on his travels that he heard of a pride of lions filled with members with unique abilities. Those with magic like him. Solis could not believe it, he had never heard of any other cat with magic. But the rumors continued, growing stronger as he traveled, and he began to wonder. Where there really others like him?

He decided to see for himself. So following the rumors he headed to the Gorge to meet this pride of lions. He sought answers, perhaps they knew where magic came from. But mostly he sought a new home. And hopefully, a new family.
