Inherited by the former leader's son. His father told him he would retire, then left the territory, leaving his son to lead the pride. Since then the new king has been wanting to conquer the land around him, unlike his peaceful father. Territory disputes are common, always pushing to increase their boundaries into the territory of bordering prides. Most of the pride are unhappy with this life. The pride lives in open savanna grasslands. Water is some distance away, but within a day's walk. Food is plentiful. In the center of the territory is three acacia trees. This is where the pride gathers when nothing is going on, resting in the shade. Closer to the outskirts of the territory are abandoned burrows, shrubby patches and some ditches in long grass; all used as nests by the lionesses.

100 words (minimum) about their territory/where their pride will be built/how they achieved this territory: The fields inhabited by the Rose Pride were a soft, flowing green for most of the year. There are few trees in their territory, and only a a bit more shrubs and under brush. Near the middle of their land is a large pile of red granite boulders with many crevices between them where the lions of Rose Pride take shelter. The first queen of rose pride gained the territory through wit, the previous top predators of the area had been a pack of painted dogs who were very superstitious in their ways and she planted bad omens in order to peacefully scare them away.

Differing from usual lion antics, this founder's pride can be found near and around an abandoned farm. The townsfolk are of course, terrified, but even when a scientist is sent in to investigate the reasoning, they are chased off.
Around the farm are many flourishing pumpkin plants and plenty of other autumnal crops. The lions are not vegetarian however, and hunt the local wildlife surrounding this october paradise: deer, runaway goats, and the like.
These lions have one other special thing about them though; they celebrate halloween with a passion. It completely baffles anyone who witnesses it, seeing this pride set up intricate decorations and carve pumpkins with their claws, but no one intervenes.
The founder of the pride came across this abandoned farm after escaping a local zoo. It was in the zoo that it initially learned of halloween, and on these farmlands where it came to fully embrace the spirit of it.

100 words (minimum) about their territory/where their pride will be built/how they achieved this territory: The Children of Mother Sunscorched Land are in some respects a community with deeply ancient cultural roots, but in others are a faction - those feeling less generous may (and often do) say "cult" - that is startlingly new. A lineage of lions with a distinct culture have lived on the Umoja scrub plain for uncountable generations, although there has always been significant immigration and emigration and boundaries have been blurred until recently. The lions of this area worship the land and view themselves as merely one aspect of a unified life force rather than discrete individuals. The culture has always been collectivist, animist, and deeply respectful of their land and fellow organisms, but within the past decade these beliefs have become much more polarized from those of nearby lion populations and the prides of Umoja scrub plain became much more insular, taking on a formal name to demarcate themselves from outsiders. The plain is nestled between cliffs and montane forests and lakes to the east, west, and south and gradually blends into dangerously hot and unsheltered desert to the north. Prey isn’t always very plentiful in the middle and north of the territory, but there is ample camouflage and shelter to stalk prey for a long time and ensure a high success rate when they do encounter prey. When weather gets truly hot most of the scrubland animals take shelter on the borders of the forest and lakes, compacting many individuals of many species into a small area. Despite the somewhat barren nature of most of their territory, prides of the Children of Mother Sunscorched Land don’t just love their land but worship it as the larger entity of which they are all but a small part.

100 words (minimum) about their territory/where their pride will be built/how they achieved this territory: The lions of Thunder Mountain tribe live in a very rocky place with mountains. Little patches of grass like to grow between the cracks of the rock. The lions have to go out of there main territory to the grassy part of the territory to hunt for prey, which includes gazelles and zebras. The founder of the Thunder Mountain tribe used to be in another tribe, but left after feeling a calling to start a new life. These lions usually have cold winters and pretty okay summers, so they have special fur that traps in more heat than a usual lion. (101 words)

The Dreamcatchers are located in a shabby, wooden building with minimal furniture. It connects to others in a variety of sizes and shapes, built like a small, vertical city. With each level they become larger and fancier, until the very top, inhabited by the boss. That is the headquarters of the pride, a place where they go to pick up new assignments and sometimes to rest. They leave into the world after having assumed their hunter forms - the lions. Wandering the streets of human cities and occasionally even entering the realm of dreams, they stalk nightmares and eradicate them in order to bring balance to the world of dreams, before it can be overtaken by terrors.

100 words (minimum) about their territory/where their pride will be built/how they achieved this territory: Kalahari fought for his territory. At first there was a small group of hyenas who prowler around the dry grass land. The territory consists of mostly tundra with a hill consumed by big, green, leafy trees. The river lays just beyond the trees, it is abundant in small prey including fish. Kalahari waited for dawn to attack. First he brought a kill of his to the outskirts of the territory then when the hyenas came to eat he pounced. Frightened and, after a few minutes, maimed; the hyenas ran as far away as possible. Kalahari became the king of his grove.

Territory/where their pride will be built/how they achieved this territory: (founder) discovered large rock formations while he was seeking shelter from a storm. His previous pride was split up due to drama between the leader and his secondaries. There were cave entrances large enough for a buffalo to fit through. From there it was a steep fall, but not dangerous for a lion. The water seemed plentiful, gathered in the form of clear ponds and puddles coming from a waterfall in the deeper cavern. The storm brought many a prey seeking shelter from the brutal wind. (founder) seized the opportunity and set up a council in the caverns, and those that followed him came willingly. They plan to recruit more in the future, to truly make the caverns a safe home for their families. (it's so late pls,, ill fix this another time xd)
