Eternal Forest

It was another day on the Eternal Forest's Tribe. The sun was gracefully shining through the green leaves of the mighty trees.
"Good morning everyone" a cat meow heard in their camp. Slowly, everycat woke up and started their usually jobs.
Lynxclaw, the leader of the clan, approached the beautiful green eyed orange she- cat that was his pair, and touched her nose with his, smiling.
"Good morning, sunshine, he purred. Will you come with me in the morning patrol?"
Solarflame smiled back at him, and fixed her emerald green eyes on him.
"Of course! Said she, enthusiastically. Do you need more cats to join us, or we're enough?"
"I don't want to bother the other cats, each one knows what they have to do and they're working efficiently together. Also, we two will be faster than a full patrol, now come on!" And he ran out of the camp.
Solarflame approved with a purr, shaking her whiskers amused. Then, she followed her soulmate and leader in the dark of the forest.

Shadowpelt couldn’t help but sigh as she padded through the woods, her paws sinking into the soft ground. It had been a while since she last explored, and things had changed quite a bit. The clan had gained three more cats, and three more kits as well, courtesy of dusk and bluefeather. With the expanding of the clan, the leader no longer had to explore with her. Instead, she was being sent out with two new foragers. It was their first day, and the she-cat hadn’t mentally prepared herself yet for what could go wrong. She tried not to think about it, for she knew that training an aged cat could be so much harder than training saps and sprouts. She heard a branch snap, and tilted her head that direction, but she didn’t have to to know that it was that clumsy Tom, bluefeather. She’d have swiped him across the face a long time ago if he wasn’t dusk’s mate.

Bluefeather didn’t really care about exploring. The large, careless Tom felt like he should’ve been assigned the role of a stock, but he couldn’t question his mate’s decision. Now nursing three kits, he supposed that Dusk didn’t want the food supply to fall short. Thinking about his three sweet little saps waiting on him to return home was the only thing that kept him going. He knew he wasn’t quick and nimble like the two she-cats he had to patrol with, but he was much larger and stronger than them, so he could take down bigger prey, and defend them from predators. He wasn’t particularly fond of Shadowpelt, his assigned “foster forager,” but she was an old friend of Dusk’s, the first cat of beechclan, and a renowned hunter, so he’d decided that if he had to take the embarrassing title of having a foster past his sprout stage, he’d rather it be her than any other member. His thoughts were interrupted when he saw Smokeface speed off in pursuit of something.

[Joke's On You]

It was a new day in the clan. After a day of successful patrols, it was time to carry on that streak. This time, Darkheart didn't go out by himself in the early morning awaiting for his clan members to awaken. Instead, he decided to wake up three of his warriors in the clan and send them out that early morning.

Polar Bear was a newer clan cat. He was big and bulky. His immense amount of fluff added to this. His clanmates decided that at some point, Polar Bear lived in the tundra up in the Northeast of the clan. He neither denied or agreed with this statement. But because of how big he was, Darkheart gave him the name Polar Bear, which he happily accepted.

The next warrior that Darkheart assigned to the early morning patrol was Badgerclaw. He was a handsome black tuxedo bicolor. And he was an extremely loyal warrior, looking to do anything for his clan. He took his rank as a warrior very seriously. When he joined the the clan, he vowed at the beginning that Starclan had proved once again that they were with Badgerclaw through all his difficulties. And since Starclan had guided him toward the clan of the many rejected and abandoned cats, he vowed to always protect and care for the clan no matter what. It was his second chance at life afterall. And normally leaders were the ones who got nine lives!

And finally, Darkheart decided that it would be good for Suntail to go out on yet another patrol since she had been apart of the clan since she was just a mere kit. She agreed without hesitation and went to greet the cats she was patrolling with.

The patrol that Darkheart put together was a good one, that was for sure. He had a variation of cats of different personalities and strengths. And he knew that they'd get along well together and be possibly one of the strongest patrols that the clan had when they were put together.

So, the three cats left on their patrol. Suntail was the one who was leading it, even if she was on the young side. She fit the task well and didn't hesitate on which direction to go. She started going south of the camp, toward the river that led to Stars lake and Stars cave, where the medicine cats went to meet with Starclan, and where the leaders went to earn their nine lives. She figured the river leading to those things might be a good starting point. Plus, she loved the scenery around it.
