Maggie's favorite activity is jumping in the leaves during the season of autumn! Maggie will often wait for the farmer to rake up leaves. When the farmer has his back turned, she'll leap into the pile and ruin all of his hard work! Sure, it frustrafss him to bits, but the farmer understands that cows need to have their fun as well. So he'll let her have her fun in the leaves!

Maggie is pretty outgoing, ( and can get a bit competitive ) but her absolute favourite activity is the milk race! If you are unaware of what the milk race is, its a competition held in Maggie's town, that occurs once every year. The objective is who can milk the most milk, from the cow the quickest! The owner of the pair gets a trophy, but the cow gets a medal! As you can see, Maggie has already won 1st place twice! Maggie is always the one chosen, as she is the best, in her words, not mine! She is quite boastful, but you gotta love that cow!

"Huh. Looks like this one flipped over."

Margaret sat huddled on the bank of the stream, peering into the shallow water flowing in front of her. It was a fairly dry season this year- usually, the stream is a teeny bit higher, but the lack of rain in the valley had almost run it dry. Luckily there was enough water to keep her crayfish friends alive. Gently poking at the small crayfish, she flips it back over on its feet with the small twig she brought with her.

Margaret had always been a fan of the small freshwater crustaceans, ever since she was a calf. She loved watching them as they grew and developed, and would always bring a small Tupperware bowl with her to bring some home, much to her mother's dismay. The small creatures were a favorite of hers ever since she could remember, and being able to live so close to a prime spawning area for the species made Margaret one happy camper.

She watched as the crayfish scuttled further into the stream, and she smiled. This year the population size was quite small, as well as the general body size of them. She worried they wouldn't be able to make it to spawning season, but seeing some of the little ones still thriving gave her relief.

Rising from her spot, she threw the twig off into some brush and began to walk home. Tomorrow she'd be back at it again, but she wouldn't have it any other way.
