But after they met formally, he apologized and promised to hunt further along the beach.
She'd taken a liking to Perry because he was polite, albeit quite strange. She didn't see many dogs who actually ate fish, and she enjoyed his company. No other dogs would come to her because of her unusual looks and the fact that she lived just by the sea, but neither she nor Perry let their words affect their friendship. Over the years, they've developed a strong bond, and Finny waits for her friend by the coast almost every day.
