Welcome to the Euphorian Retired Racehorse Project
Euphorian Thoroughbreds are a rare string of the Thoroughbred breed. They come from a single farm simply called “Euphoria” that has horses with mutated genes. These allow them to be able to possess any realistic coat or markings. Everything else about the sub-type is the same. Long, strong legs, a powerful hind, and great speed. Their eyes are soft and the breed is incredibly smart, if not a bit goofy. They love kids and have the rare ability to excel in any discipline. They can grow from 15hh-18hh, though usually somewhere in the middle.
The horses readopted through the Euphorian Retired Racehorse Project are looking for a new loving home and a new job. They’ve tried racing and have either retired or decided the sport wasn’t for them. Either way, they are ready for the next chapter in their life. Some of these horses will come with a little training already, and will have their new discipline already determined. Although others you’ll get to pick how they move forwards!

Reasoning: It was a warm spring day at ARRC when Magpie first came. She wasn't nervous, rather quite excited to meet all of the new horses. A small part of her feared they wouldn't accept her, but she tamped this down with the hope she'd make at least one new friend.
The trailer ramp hit the ground with a thud behind her, the groom calmly backing her off of it. The sweet smell of new growth and dirt emanated all around, small aspens dotting the property. Mountains covered in the trees loomed upwards, so high that she couldn't see the tips of some behind the clouds. Birds cried down from the highest peaks, seeming to welcome her. Magpie did love birds after all.
Before she could take a look at all of the new faces in the pasture to her right, the mahogany mare was whisked away and into the main barn. The ceilings were tall and the whole area smelled of sweet grain and supple leather. She couldn't help but prance in excitement down the main isle. Her stall was large and welcoming, but there weren't horses in either of the stalls next to her. That was until Cody was brought in.
The two chatted for what seemed like hours as the stallion told Magpie all about Aspen Ridge Rescue Center. He shared that the ring was huge and she'd love learning to jump, and that there were many trails cut into the mountain and in between the aspen trees. Although Magpie never got a word in edgewise, she knew that she'd finally met a friend in this large new place.

He never felt jealous of all the attention she received. Instead, he was jealous when she gave another horse attention. The two horses never talked to each other, but they both had an attraction towards each other. One day, when Queen was alone, Legend decided to make his move. They both had the same strange and sometimes inappropriate sense of humor. They are now inseparable, and spend as much time as they can together. They are very upset when they aren't around each other, and always look forward to the next time they are together. While they are not a couple, they both dream about it happening one day. For now, they both remain very close.

Halo was used to being the only ET at White Orchard. She wasn't used to sharing everything with someone else. She had longed for a companion but didn't expect one without any warning. Probably didn't help she never really understood what the two leg rambled on about half the time.
And when Cass showed up without any warning, Halo broke her character and acted extremely standoffish, bullying Cass in the most ridiculous ways.
Cass, being the sweetheart she is, knowing what it's like to have intruders invade personal space, gave Halo some time. Never pushed Halo to share anything, always tried to make conversation despite Halo's attempts to ignore it. Always let her eat her share first, complimented Halo and made comments on the weather, and made attempts at getting to know Halo.
Halo, on the other hand, found it all annoying. This new gal really thinks she can butter my biscuits, Halo always thought to herself. She really thought Cass was a priss who faked it 'til she made it. Halo had never really experienced company before, so she really didn't know what to expect.
One day she finally broke and took up Cass's offer on a nice stroll through the orchard and they've been best friends ever since.
