Story:
"Just a little farther..." Alora's heart hammered in her chest to the rhythm of her rapid hoof-steps. The wind roared past her ears, blocking out all distractions. Somewhere behind her was a herd of antelope, racing to earn the title of fastest in the prairie, but this was her chance to prove herself. "If only I could see the finish line through this towering grass..."
Like on cue, the prairie grass dropped away and she was flying along the straightaway. On both sides, animals of all shapes and sizes cheered her on. With a burst of speed, she soared across the finish line without an opponent to be seen.
"Aly! Aly! Aly..."
"Aly! Get your bum out of the shade and come help!" Alora opened her eyes to see her angry older brother leaning over her, sweat pouring down his withers. "You were napping on the job... again."
Alora clambered to her hooves, hanging her head.
Her brother sighed. "Look, I can't cover for you every time. Good luck explaining this one to pa." With that he turned and walked away.
Following reluctantly, she thought about her dream. She'd been having the same dream day and night since she was a young calf. It's all she thought about and all she wanted. No one believed she could do it, so she couldn't wait until the day she proved them all wrong.

Two years later, she stood on the starting line, muscles taut. On both sides stood a dozen perfectly agile antelopes, bred to run. She didn't have a single doubt, though, that she could be their match or even their superior. She was hardworking and persistent, never letting go of her dream. This was what she was made to do. This was her moment.
The buzzer sounded, and she flew.
