"Oh hey! I'm Wellington. Would you like to look at my harvest?" A little blue felt, rather bubbly, greeted him. Without looking Blueberry mumbled, “I gotta go to a meeting, sorry-“ “Oh, are you sure, I've got some nice pumpkins and eggplants, you should see the homegrown blueberries! Blueberries ears pricked up and he turned to the filt. “Did- did you say... blueberries?” He stammered “Sure did young man, some o’ the best in the country, homegrown with a tender love!” Blueberry licked his lips, his mouth drooling and his pupils widening. The little flit bent down and retrieved a small container of the ripest, most colorful blueberries, he’d ever seen. “4 dollars a packet!” By now, Blueberry had dropped his work paper, which had sent flying through the wind, and hung up what seemed to be a very important call. “I’ll take 2 boxes!” He grinned, foraging through his wallet and picking out a few notes of money. “Oh- are you-“ “Just get me the blueberries!” He snapped. He was being quite demanding but he simply couldn’t wait to get his mouth around those succulent, fresh, juices berries. “If you insist!” Wellington chuckled, loading two full boxes of blueberries into his arms. During this time Blueberry happened to notice the strawberries on display. “And how much are those strawberries?” He questioned. “Oh, those? There 3 dollars- would you like to buy some of them as well?” Wellington looked up, a little concerned at the proportions this man was buying. “I’ll take a box of them too-!” He added, but I best be on my way soon! “Yes, sir! Let me see the box and I can get out of your hair!” “Take your time- my meeting can wait for this!” Blueberry licked his lips once again. The film smiled, “You won’t be disappointed!” He said, handing the newly loaded box onto the stack of other boxes. “That it be… uh…” Blueberry interrupted, by flinging 300 dollars across the table- “If you need more, call me, if not- keep the change!” He grinned, walking off with dozens of people staring at him. Totally worth it though!

The sun fell warm on his mottled coat, and Saviel maintains a brisk pace down the bazaar as he crosses multiple colourful stalls, each adorned with eye-catching ensembles of ornate gold and silk - just right for his taste and aesthetic. He folds his wings tightly against his body to avoid being a hindrance to the other patrons, and that was when his eyes catch on a simple wooden booth at the very end of the streets. His interest piques.

Slowly making his way over to the stall, Saviel quickly notices the little blue and purple flitz mending it, and on the display laid different variations of vegetables. He raises a brow and looks over the greens.

“You don’t quite stand out from the others here, but you’re different - that’s interesting.”

The stall owner peers up at him with curiosity, wonder beaming at the back of his gaze as he speaks, “Wellington, at your service. Might you be interested in any of these produce?”

“How were they grown?”

“Finest of the finest! Grown in my own fields, treated just like royalty, spoilt with the finest fertilisers Vilomio has to offer.” the flitz leans over the stall, a cheeky smirk forming on his muzzle as his eyes narrows, “Not just like the farmer right up the street from here, that stall with the fairy lights, do you see it? Right there? Who claims he grows his leaves with magic? Would you really believe him?”

Saviel lets a smile etch slowly across his face. Wellington - whoever he truly was, was a talker and much less a charmer. Saviel quickly finds himself intrigued by the flitz’s outgoing personality, though he doesn’t let his guard down far too much - the stall owners of the bazaar were known to be rather sweet-tongued.

His gaze passes over the produce, carefully examining each with interest, and sure enough, just like Wellington had said - the tomatoes beamed under the rays of the sun, the artichokes were wonderfully shaped, the blueberries were the bluest he had ever seen throughout the kingdom and the carrots were a beautiful shade of orange.

The vegetables were truly as the owner had described, the finest that Saviel had ever seen in a long time.

Saviel nods slowly in appreciation, then looks back up at Wellington - who had leaned in closer with widened eyes and donning on an over-the-top smile.

“So? What are your judgements?”

“It’ll only be a fair choice if I gave the other farmer a chance, don’t you think?”

“Oh, heavens, no!”

Wellington fakes an exasperated expression, his ears falling in disgust as he dramatically places a paw over his heart, “Surely, sir, you don’t mean you would willingly have yourself fall ill over mistreated food?”. He lowers his voice, “I’ve heard many had to pay a visit to the doctors after eating his lettuces, take my word for it.”

Saviel smiles, picking up a bunch of carrots in his paw as he peers at them with feigned uninterest, then teasingly throws a look over his shoulders as if to try and make out the rivalling store, earning a nervous look from Wellington; who continues to force on a fading smile.

“You’re not as calm as you pretend to be, hm?” Saviel cuckles, “How much? I’ve got a fondness for carrots, name your price and I’ll take ten bunches.”

nimbler woke up and saw a market?
he walked down and saw a couple of flitz
crowded at the front. he saw some veggies.
he titled his head in confusion. what is going
on? nimbler pushed between the crowds and
looked up. their were tons of veggies.
more than he thought. his reaction was fairly
chill. he shrugged and went to a little circle
to talk with some of his friends. nimbler was
excited to see what was going to happen. about
an hour later a show went on and nimbler left
the stand to go and check what was going on.
nimbler yawned and ended up falling asleep.
later one of his friends woke him up to pumpkin
seeds. nimbler was a bit angry and rolled his
eyes. nimbler hardly even liked veggies but
apparently because they were the new trend
nimbler made an veggie coat for himself. it
had a carrot sticker and perfect lining. he also
made a carrot cap. nimbler's friends tried to
eat it a couple times. nimbler hung around
the stand all day. him and his friends even
had a camp out near it just in case any pumpkin
seeds would be given away early in the morning.
nimbler made veggie outfits for all his friends
and they called themselves the "veggie squad"
nimbler ended his day with a broccoli fur coat.
the fur was dyed green and he wore it in his sleep.
this was pretty exciting and he couldn't wait to
see what tomorrow brings. nimbler stared at the stars
all night, trying to figure out if any stars looked like
veggies. nimbler and his friend aj stayed up all night
drinking kelp smoothies and a couple of carrot sticks.
they ended up finding 6 veggies in the sky. wow, what
a day this was. veggies in the sky, veggie outfits, veggie
currency, and even veggie squad! what was next? no
one knows. but right now nimbler is pretty hyped up.
