Personally, I’ve only ever made one set of feet paws. I made them outdoor paws and I used a cheap excercise mat puzzle thing from my local Five Below (Here’s a link as a reference:
https://www.fivebelow.com/sports/fitnes ... 4in-1.html). Super cheap and affordable and they work perfectly. Would definitely recommend.

Anatomy wise, I just kind of went off of tutorials from people on YouTube and then kind of just altered those in ways to fit who my character is. I never really put too much thought into the whole anatomy of her species XD. It took me a few tries in order to get the smile correct, but I think I got it something now that works for me. First, I used the usual pattern for the cheeks but wasn’t quite happy with the results :

Then, I decided to add long strips of foam, four in total, curved to mimic the shave of a large smile. I tried to use More For Less as an example as I LOVE their suits:

Then, today I finally carved the strips down to the desired shape and I couldn’t be happier for my first suit:
