what are they mad about?:
Eden could feel the corners of his mouth twitch with annoyance as yet another presence had blocked his view. This entire night had gone anything but according to plan -- even from the get-go, he only prepared himself to grab a quick drink and leave, but of course, there had to be roadblocks on his path.
After a long day of pointless activities and harsh sun, there seemed to be no better way to unwind aside from having a drink and calling it a night. Even with the whispers of nightly activities going on elsewhere -- a casino perhaps? -- having a drink and hitting the sack seemed far superior. The bar itself was nothing to gawk at. Rather bland with soft music wafting throughout the air. The atmosphere was fine though, for the most part, calm with the slight ruckus from the far side of the bar. Having decided that the bar was worth his time, he headed up towards the counter to order something light. Of course, that's when he had set his eyes on the bartender.
As though caught in a trance, Eden stood dumbfounded in front of the man. It was poor bar etiquette to stand up at the bar and not know what to order, but he wasn't at a loss at what to order, and more at a loss as to why they were keeping such a sight down below the ship? Compared to all the dull and tiresome sights he had seen today, he was by far the most fascinating. With a loss for words, even he wasn't sure what he had ordered, but the bartender was kind enough to acknowledge him and send him on his way with what looked like something fruity.
Taking a seat not far from the bar, and much closer to the right side of the establishment than he would have liked, his eyes every so often drifted over to the bartender's direction. Had he been the one leading the tours and activities, Eden was sure the experience would have been far more interesting. What felt like moments into his gawking, Eden's shoulder had been bumped into, accidentally of course, by a few rowdy customers. He had no right to be so enraged by it, but he felt as though he might miss out on something interesting by now having to deal with these annoyances.
You couldn't really blame him, could you? They bumped into him first, he just happened to bump into all the rest of them afterwards until they had left him alone and were out of his sight. Although when he had gone to sit back down, it seemed a softer woman had approached him. Still blocking his view of course, but her intentions seemed as though she only needed a brief second...
He was embarrassed, inside and out he had felt himself burn with a dilemma. Not only had he caused a scene, but the bartender himself had asked someone to politely ask him to calm down. The most embarrassing part about it? His first impression was a jumble of words, and his second, loud and unruly. You can assure yourself that the rest of the night onwards was quiet and meek from his side of the bar.

what are they mad about?:
- written from the perspective of Blythe -I looked across the bar toward the one the bartender had spoken of. He was in a rage, snarling at the customers, slamming his fists on the counter, and screaming profanity across the room. Glancing at the bar I could see the many drinks he had drunk and his erratic movements further proved he was out of control. With a nervous breath I walked over to him.
“Excuse me. Sir?” He turned, nostrils flared and eyes wide. I froze, suddenly terrified and regretful of my decision to approach him.
“What?” He growled, speaking deeply.
“I. I was just wondering how your day has gone?”I forced a smile. “How’s life?”
“You could never imagine the day I’ve had!” He sputtered, fingers clenched and teeth bared as he glared at the restaurant to the side of the bar. The stool creaked as he plopped into it, clutching another drink.
I placed a hand on his shoulder and politely took a seat next to him. He flinched, nearly shaking it off, but visibly took a deep breath realizing his outburst.
“It began with a stupid duck.”
I held back a laugh as he looked at me with his matching maroon eyes.
“I know you wish to laugh, I know! It’s a strange thing to say but it was the last royal guest on the list for the parting party for this cruise. I had an invitation, I’m the Duke of Vejme for crying out out! But I was kicked out and replaced on the list by a duck!” He showed me a crumpled paper from his pocket, the fancy golden script crossed out by quickly scribbled red ink with a regal, yet sloppy, signature across the bottom. I looked closely at it, reading the red marks as he continued.
“I got the invitation through the mail, all stamped all fancy and such, but -“
I cut off his story as I finished reading the text.
“Wait! Wait. Wait. This is a prank!” I held the letter close to his face. “Look! See both the signatures. They are the same, but neither are those of any royalty I know of.”
“They don’t always do it themselves.” He moped.
“But wait, just hold on. Don’t you recognize the name?” He pushed the paper back and read.
“King Reignal and Queen Firost.” I raised my eyebrow.
“It actually says ‘Your Mostest Royal Friend Fredrick.’” I corrected. He bared his teeth again, abruptly standing up.
“That sly fiend, that joker, he will pay for this. He knows I never get invited to these kinds of things, he knows how to copy handwriting, how did I not see this before! How did I know see that it was him!” His anger rose again, turning his face red with rage. I jumped up, grabbing his arm.
“Hold on! He’s not here! We are on the open sea!” He looked down at me then to the bartender.
“Bartender! Halt this boat at once! I must exact my revenge upon the Joker Fredrick.” I tugged on his arm again.
“He can’t control the boat, calm down.”
He looked at me and sat slowly, putting his drink down. “Yes, you are right.” He looked at the bar. “I am acting too hasty! I must plan my revenge.”
“Um, that’s -“
“Thank you young miss! You have found the source of my anger!” He grabbed me in a bear hug, planting his lips fully on mine. “I should hire you as a detective or something of the sorts.” The duke said, setting me down back onto my stool. “Farewell! I shall be in my chambers, plotting!” I sat befuddled as he sprinted from the room in a drunken run, laughing maniacally.
“I fear for that man.”

what are they mad about?:
Uktena approached the rowdy kalon with no hesitation, who was in the middle of drunkenly yelling at another passenger. She placed her arm on the aggravated kalon, dragging them away for the terrified cruise-goer who was being yelled at.
"What's your name?" The brightly colored kalon gaped at her. "Uh... Wilu?" Uktena nodded as she gently shoved them into a booth before seating herself on the opposite side. "What seems to be troubling you, Wilu?"
After a slight pause in which Wilu stared flabbergasted at Uktena. "I...I don't believe that my life is any of your business. What do you care anyway?" Uktena smiled. "Why, your life is bound to be quite interesting. The people who act out the most tend to have something deep on their minds." Wilu looked thoughtfully at her. "Perhaps. Let's just say that this vacation is my form of escapism... but running isn't doing anything. I can't stop thinking about it. I'm not even the one who did it, but I just can't get past it!" Tears were streaking down Wilu's cheeks now, and they were tensely gripping the table. Uktena placed her paw on Wilu's. "It's ok." "No, you don't understand. NO ONE UNDERSTANDS!" Wilu was standing again staring emptily at the wooden table, sobbing. "My sister. She died." Uktena fluffed her fur slightly, walked over, and embraced them. She guided Wilu to their room, and stayed for a bit playing card games. She left with a melancholic feeling, hoping the best for Wilu. She'd be sure to check back later.

name: Andy
what are they mad about?:
Well you see, Andy originally only went to the bar to escort his sister
Zayne back to her room once she was done, but things quickly escalated for the worse. He had just bought some crisp white sneakers for the trip using the money he'd saved on the tickets and wore them down to the bar. This ended as expected when some stumbling drunken idiot barfed all over his beautiful shoes. The stench was unbearable and there was no way he'd be able to get that nasty shade of green off his sneakers. He had had enough, walking over to where he'd left Zayne, he spotted something far worse than his newly stained, stinky shoes. Some rich boy had decided to try and win over his little sister and for some reason it seemed to be working. He ordered some Tequila shots and started trowing punches, in the end he broke the rich kal's nose, dislocated someone's jaw, and gave three people concussions including himself. What a night!

what are they mad about?:
What is Acer mad about? Well here is a short description of what he is mad about. Pollution! It is downright disgusting! Everyone thinks it is alright to be going around using boats and what not! Yet they do not think about their actions. I mean what is it to him right? Everything it is his job to make sure his fellow ocean is safe, but every time a boat links the oil spreads and causes millions or marine life to die, and for what! Fun!

name: pyre manser
what are they mad about?: pyre isnt the type to be stubborn and hot-headed over very many things, it's actually quite difficult to truly anger or upset them, but one thing they absolutely cant stand, that always grinds their gears, are things that are spicy. (just because someone is bright red and orange and yellow, doesnt mean they like spicy things, thank you very much.) and as it just so happened, they'd brought the wrong kind of chips for the kruise! instead of the normal nacho cheese doritos, they'd accidentally brought spicy nacho doritos, and they tasted absolutely terrible! and of course, no one's willing to share their nacho cheese doritos with them or want to swap bags, so now they cant even enjoy their favorite snack! this truly is the worst possible thing that could happen, they cant imagine anything worse!

name: Miles
what are they mad about?:
Miles is a little... misunderstood. He is always getting into trouble for things he never even did. When he was just a kit he would walk into the worst situations and get blamed for them. After a few years, he gave up trying to even talk his way out of situations. Instead, he accepted it all with open arms. Whenever he found himself in trouble, he decided to make his own trouble in the mix. He drops some food on the ground and gets yelled at for it? He’s going to start a food fight right then and there. He gets into a small fight? He’s going to pull everyone in and make it a huge battle. He’s not afraid to get in a ton of trouble, he’ll just try to make it more fun.

what are they mad about?:
"Would you mind helping them back to their rooms, and getting them out of my hair?"
Though Iris was in a hurry, only in the bar to grab a quick drink, of course, she was too polite to decline and set off to calm the place down for the poor bartender. She searched around anxiously where to begin and her eyes settled on a crowd of kalons off to the side.
"Someone's making a ruckus over there." A kalon sitting at the bar offered, nodding their head over towards said crowd.
"Some hot-shot trying to start petty fights, I suppose..."
Iris nodded her head as she walked her way to examine the situation further. Looking at each of the kalons, no one seemed to be in any sort of verbal arguments or physical conflicts... All of their heads were leaned down in the same direction.
She squinted her eyes. Perhaps something spilled, or there was an animal that got loose?
Suddenly, she felt a dull thud as a kalon hit the wooden floor below, giving a grunt. She approached the other kalon, offering a paw up. "Oh dear, are you alright?"
"Yeah, yeah... I'm fine, I learned 'm lesson. If you see a brightly colored fireball of a kalon don't mess with 'em, take it from me." As the kalon got up, he was a lot more stalkier and rather threatening looking that Iris had initially thought. He looked as if he could be the toughest kalon in the bar, who could've knocked him down?
"Fireball, fireball..." Iris mouthed as she searched, her eyes up towards the other kalons, examining their colors. No one remotely resembled a bright orange, red or yellow...
"Alder- remember the name!" There was a sudden shout and Iris' attention was directed... Down.
Shot out of the crowd, Iris was presented with a small, bright orange kalon in front of her. No, small was an understatement- this kalon was tiny. Looks like she had found the hot-shot fireball she had been looking for.
"You lookin' at me?" Alder prompted, firey eyes narrow and head low as if she was about to pounce at any given moment.
"No! I mean... Not necessarily... I just... The bartender wanted me to see what was going on over here, that's all." Iris stuttered, having never felt so intimidated by something so small before.
"What's going on over here? I'll tell you what's going on over here!" The little yet mighty kalon hopped up on the pool table nearby, fur bristling like a proud lion on top of a rock.
"These guys... They think just 'cause I'm small I ain't fierce or strong... That I'm puny and weak. I have to teach 'em a lesson, y'know?" The punctuated sentence was shot towards the kalons in the crowd, causing them to shrink back in their places, proving the effect Alder had on them. "Not to worry though, missy. I think we're done here."
Iris swallowed. Lord, she had never witnessed a kalon getting so worked up over their height out of things... At least it made her evening a little more interesting. Amusing, even.

name: Marvin
what are they mad about?:
There was a loud slamming as a kalon brought his hand down onto the table. His brow was knitted into a tight arch as he let out an angry grunt. "What do you mean it's 15 dollars for a drink? A drink!" The kal glared up at the kalon by his table, who looked rather skittish standing there by his friend.
"Awwh come on Marv' It ain that bad." The kalon tried to reason, offering a small, if not painful to look at smile. Which was returned with another angry grunt and glare. The kalon took a seat opposite of 'Marv' and continued on a one sided conversation as their friend looked up at the wall decoration.
There came a harsh muttering around the bar which slowly grew louder as the moments passed and the anger seemed to subside. Marvin had taken to scratching at the table, marking his initials in the wood out of petty annoyance of the high priced drinks and food. Then there was a group of voices, extremely loud and rowdy. "But that bo' don't even have a dime to his name!" There came a loud ground of laughter as another joined in. "Bet he snuck onta the cruise! Must be sleeping in the supply closet-"
Marvin stood up loudly, looking at the small group of kalons by the bar. Four in total, all snickering and laughing loudly in turn. His friend froze and gather to their feet, pulling on Marvin's arm as panic swelled up inside them. Though their pleas fell on deaf ears, Marvin pulled away and stormed up to the group.
All four paused as Marvin approached them. They shared a glanced before one opened their mouth- Marvin didn't wait for any one of them to speak he was shaking with anger, annoyed out of his mind at the prices, on the prices and all the money he'd have to spend. The kalon stumbled back dropping his drink, as Marvin stood above them. "Why don't you say that too my face."
