Ainsley walked down the street, well strolled was a better fitting word. Her confidence was like an umbrella, keeping her dry from any drops of insecurity. Though she stood out a little more than the other Kalons, the bright spots in her fur like a neon sign, she was one of the more outspoken and comfortable ones. And, well, she was about to prove that. As she was walking, she saw an adult Kalon, speaking perhaps a little too roughly to a smaller more younger one. That didn’t sit well with her at all. “Hey.” she growled, but their actions didn’t stop at her words “Hey!” she barked before giving the adult a shove back, stepping to guard the kid. “What’s your problem, huh? Pick on someone your own size.” she challenged, her eyes gleaming fiercely. “Listen. I don’t know who you are. But, this isn’t your business. He stole gum.” the guy explained, clearly annoyed by her interference. “Okay, and? That’s like, what, two dollars? And he’s like, ten? Give him a break.” she responded, looking meaningfully at the kid “And, you. Give the gum back or I will find your mom and tell her what you did, I know where you live.” she told him, which caused the kid to squirm, cough up the gum, and run the other way. She gave the shop owner a pointed look before she quickly started on her way once more.
