Remember that you may still be chosen if your entries arent finished. You can finish them after the lines are made.
However, for the best chance please put forward backgrounds that suit the needs of the community such as forests, rocky terrain, fields, rivers, etc. Just a little hint. c:

Things like time variations or individual puzzle piece layers(like add ons) aren't exactly necessary, and can be added to specific background layers if you would like to include them. c:

Rise staff would like a pack of backgrounds for use with the new lineart that includes a variety of realistic backgrounds to suit the different Rise clans (forest, river, plains, waterfall, mountains, other forest, etc)
We thought it would be fun to hold a competition for it?
This is open to Rise members and people who are not in Rise. I will do my best to add to your prize if you are not in Rise and won't accept the Rise prize.

If you are chosen as the winner and would like to add more backgrounds to the pack/didn't complete all of your backgrounds, you will be able to do them after the lines are completed. Please try to make your entries as complete as possible though!

Guidelines:
Must be realistic and roughly suit the proportions of a cat about the size of the current lines
We would like at least two backgrounds
Your backgrounds must be done on the same file (as files on oekaki can't be merged)
These must be done on the oekaki canvas
